Bought this and ended up dissatisfied resenting the overall poor quality rattly poor tolerance bracelet and no sapphire, plus the minute hand doesn't seem long enough. Plus mine ran a constant - 5 secs a day well within tolerance but I hate watches that run slow - you get what you pay for here, the orange dial iteration was nice but I wish id put the money towards something more special and accurate, unless you're a die hard collector and have to have this gmt - avoid?

Would like to have seen this on a bigger wrist for comparison.

I bought the Black dial and I love it . I have others GMT’s (mechanical and quartz) but this one will be used more frequently ,for sure .
Nice finishing and good looking , my only regret is that it’s not a “true” GMT, but it works for me. For the price range it’s a marvel !

Personal I Like it better then my Rolex gmt, only thing I hate is going to the clear back case. Very tacky.

I have one the 003. I don’t like the none clicky bezel. Just hard friction. Overall I love it 👍

Would have been perfect. I don't buy tool watches with mineral crystals any more because I just scratch them up.

I would like to comment here that my Seiko 5 GMT started going fast 3mins/day after four months of ownership and Seiko is replacing the whole movement. This is what you get from the almighty and reliable Seiko.

How come the deviation varies for the models? It's the same movement?

Why do two watches in the same line that are only different in color but have identical movements have different daily loss/ gain? I’m confused.

This is the third GMT collection of mine after Black Bay Pro and Mido Ocean Star Pepsi. I got the Batman SSK003 piece. Adoringly happy with all three!

I just bought the ssk003 model today. It definitely looks amazing, I didn't realize out of the 3 of them this one is out the most in time. I'm still going to keep it. I did manage to get one heck of a great deal on it, so even though I was only planning on spending 200 today I ended up spending 450 and bought this beautiful piece and that's in canadian dollars lol. This was suppose to be the watch that replaced my daily watch but I don't want to have to worry about it. So maybe it might just go in my collection instead of a day to day watch. This is the best pilot's watch for it's functionality. 3 time zones. Homebase, GMT and the Destination. All you have to do is move the bezel for the destinations and you are done. <$500 and the built quality a no brainer.

I love that design apart one bit, hate cyclops window. My eyes are not best but still hate it. Seiko that watch looks amazing.

Bought this watch after owning Tudor BB GMT and Longines. Watch ran almost 15 minutes ahead everyday. Claimed warranty and it’s been two months since Seiko is sitting on it. Personally would avoid spending 500 dollars on an unreliable movement.
Spend some more and buy Hamilton or Mido and thank me later

Hi Teddy, I see some of this model have Made in Japan on the dial and some does not has it, but it has 4R36 instead is that mean those are made in Korean or somewhere else?

Been a fan of Seiko for a while now. I bought the 003 (blue dial) recently. Fantastic watch, looks beautiful and feels great on the wrist. Plus, getting a GMT at this price point is a steal. Highly recommend it.

Love friction bezel. Hate turning a whole circle just because 24 was slightly past and it clicks one way. Most of my watches Russian for this reason but I am getting this one for sure.

After watching this video and doing some research, I got the Blue version. It's a great watch and I love it. This is my first mechanical watch and the crystal is much better than other lower budget watches I had.
I only had Seiko in mind and bought it at a pretty good deal.

Great review,obviously i'm not a watch person but would like to get this watch,but i have to ask,what do you mean by the plus and minus per day,does it mean that after a week your watch needs to be reset to the right time?
