All Emotion Sounds in The Sims 4 (with HD images!)

Say what you want about TS4's emotions system, but the sounds are so perfect, the dazed one in particular really stands out for me

The emotion cards:

ATTENTION: do not make a disaster of a house party in the sims, especially for party animals that hosted the party, it happned to one of my sims, he could not stop being Sad and Embarassed

They probably should have called tense, nervous or anxious.

it’s so funny to me seeing people who don’t have strangerville absolutely freaking out over the possessed emotion 😭

Wish they kept the old emotion names. "Miserable" sounds so much better than "Very Uncomfortable"

FUN FACT: The second level of all the emotions used to have a different name!

Very Happy was originally called Elated.

Very Energized was originally called Fired Up.

Very Inspired was originally called Imaginative.

Very Focused was originally called In The Zone.

Very Confident was originally called Fearless.

Very Flirty was originally called Passionate.

Very Playful was originally called Silly.

Very Uncomfortable was originally called Miserable.

Very Tense was originally called Stressed.

Very Sad was originally called Depressed.

Very Angry was originally called Furious.

Very Embarrassed was originally called Humiliated.

I remember the first time my frog sim obtained the hysterical moodlet (since he’s a wee little goofball 🤪) and I got so terrified that I immediately quit the game without saving 😭

Now I just cheat away the emotional death moodlets just to be on the safe side 😅

Happy: a happier version of Fine

Very Happy: "I'm so happy I'll start playing the flute"

Energised: I love how mischievous it sounds

Very Energised: no mischief, just drum-banging energy

Inspired: low-key banger, ngl. The embodiment of inspiration

Very Inspired: you're a wizard, neon-red-coat lady

Focused: feels like it captures focus, but at the same time, it doesn't

Very Focused: why's this so dramatic?

Confident: Very Happy 2: Electric Boogaloo

Very Confident: Very Happy 3: Electric Confidence

Flirty: how come I never realised the icons were different depending on your Sim's gender?

Very Flirty: "come to the woohoo bush with me" 😏

Playful: Energised with extra mischief

Very Playful: mischief with ✨drama ✨

Hysterical: that mischievous sound you're hearing masks the imminent, painful, torturous death your Sim's about to face

Uncomfortable: honestly, this sound is what being uncomfortable feels like

Very Uncomfortable: why does this sound more familiar to me than uncomfortable? 💀

Tense: would work well in a children's horror movie, ngl

Very Tense: when you're so done with life you get a serial killer soundtrack playing

Sad: I won't admit how many times I've heard this

Sad (2): don't mind me, I'm just about to start a quest to figure out when Sad (2) plays instead of Sad

Very Sad: Sad (Extended Edition)

Angry: I've always loved how it sounds like feet stomping

Very Angry: ohhh, shit, things are getting serious

Enraged: "DON'T STEP ANY CLOSER TO ME OR I'LL SHANK YOU!!!1!!!111!!" dies

Embarrassed: sounds like it should play after a clown scares a child instead of amuses them

Very Embarrassed: "I must hide from my family for a hundred days and a hundred nights"

Mortified: "at this point, I've proven myself to be so unable to human that I welcome death"

Dazed: "hey, Joe, why do you have square eyes on your arse cheeks?"

Bored: I'm glad this is just a snippet. Can you imagine how boring a full song would be?...*cough*

Possessed: X-Files intensifies

Scared: I associate this with thunderstorms cos that's the only bloody time I hear this sound

Terrified: now it sounds like a serial killer's down the hall. That's what I wanted from the normal Scared

Alot of them make me feel the same way.

Also the "Very Angry" sounds like a Volcano about to erupt (sounds appropriate, right?)

The male Flirty sim facial expression looks kind of ugly😆😆🤣

My favorite ones are Very energized and Very focused, i dont know why, they just sound so good to me lol

The terrified sound keeps scaring the s—t out of me whenever I play the game and hear this and the very tense and tense

I think the devs could add another way to die if they add a third scared mood in the game and the Sim stays like that for too long, like when they're Mortified, Enraged or Hysterical

Say what you want about the sims 4 (and it's probably gonna be true) but you can't deny that all of these are absolutely ICONIC

EMBARRASSED: Me when i do something childish infront of my C
VERY EMBARRASSED: Me when i accidentally make a fart sound in my classroom
MORTIFIED: Me when my mum shows pictures of me as a lil kid to other people

I am always scared when my sim is hysterical

The possessed one scared the sh*t out of me

i love the playful ones and the very inspired one but i absolutely love the very focused 😭😭

You have to put a warning before you show the possessed face!
