This is an associate degree. A bachelors is several side hustles. A masters is property and business that you can ignore for a week and make 100k a year. A doctorate is when you make zero income but borrow monet against assets and use that money to fund your activities - that become money producing assets.

I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my portfolio for retirement. I'm seeking to invest $200K across markets but don't know where to start.

We just started our emergency fund with $14,000 in an account with 4.3% APY, and made a layout of how long it will take to make it to 40k base. We have car and home, only debt is car with 5 years left and house (which is not on our name but a family member, so it's not actually our debt per se, but we're considering at least 50% of it as ours as we live there as well), everything else is paid.

Our income is currently only my spouse, but once I start working in about a year, we'll have double income coming in, which will accelerate everything. We expect to pay the car in 2.5 years or less instead of 5, and once that happens we'll keep adding a bit more into emergency fund, house and a little for investments (stocks). We currently have 1.5k in stocks before I watched this video...

I already had the plan to put 9k in investments and 3k on emergency fund, but Dave says we need emergency fund first and I 1000% agree, so had a chat with my spouse and we're going to do it that way, that's going to give us a lot of peace. As we have medical, house and car insurance, we're pretty much covered for any problems we might face.

Once I start working I'll get an IRA, and 20% or more of my income will go towards IRA, having the emergency fund separate as we don't want to have it locked in a 401(k), we'll also accelerate the car payments, and a bit more into investing, everything else will go towards paying any debt first and then fun (going out, trips, etc.), we have no kids and don't plan on having any, so we'll dedicate ourselves to invest and have fun with it :)

What happens when you reach $50,000 what happens when you reach$250,000 to what happens when you reach $1000000 it took you many years to get there and you can destroy that overnight so the problem is feeling rich
