Why could the 49ers have signed BA to a cheaper contract earlier this year? Lamb & Aiyuk were waiting for St. Brown and Jefferson to get paid and push up their apy value. Now it's a standoff between the league's WR pay structure and every WR1 wanting JJ money. I've changed my mind, I think Aiyuk will play on his 5th year rookie contract.

Aiyuk doesnt belong in the 9ers. They look for humble players willing to put the team first. He was a disappointment until 2 years ago. Im a huge Aiyuk fan....BUTTTTTT we also gotta think about Brock next year. Our WR is pretty deep. Trading him will give JJ a chance to step up, and i think Ricky is going to be a really good WR. BA is great, he does so much in tge game, but to empty the bank on him...WR are like RB, there are lots that break out all the time.
