You're gonna have to make another video next year when Flight Sim 2024 is out because that's when the planet will be, finally, recreated in the sim. Right now it's a hit or miss with some nice looking areas of the world while others are completely missing or covered in generic scenery because of cloud coverage. I can't wait!

Such a shame that the aircraft handling qualities are awful. Nice view through the windows from a dreadful aircraft. Wrong priorities - and yes - I do have a fast CPU and a great video card.
Top end of the MS FS spec.
The stability/maneuverability are awful especially. Perhaps that's why the interviewee didn't mention operating the thing.

I have played 2020 and marveled at it until after about 10 minutes I realised it's just google maps but with a pretend aeroplane on the screen at the same time.

This was great! I want this Sim so bad! But I can't afford a high end computer and have a ps5 instead of an Xbox. If I knew this was available on Xbox I may have bought that instead of the PlayStation even though I'm very loyal to playstation. I wish someone would fly over my house and record it for me!

I have no interest in playing these games but they are absolutely stunning visually, technically, and an example of how technology can be used to make beautiful things and have an impact on our perspective of our world.

I still fly in my home area EDDB. One day I plan to make a world tour.... one day... Started with MSFS5. You make my dream come true, Flightsim is half of my life. Thanks for that gift. I am happy to experience it in my life. And I think nobody will create a better Sim in the future. By the way, Asobo sold this Masterpice way too cheap.

Wow....
We take games like Flight Simulator for granted. I have always wondered what kind of work goes into a masterpiece like MFS.
Now it makes sense, a touch of AI along with the programming Wizardry of the developers/studio.
I have the Xbox Series X version of this beautiful game, and I can never say enough good things about this Simulator, not so much a game. It more than satisfies that curiosity I have always had since I was a kid about flying, and planes, and my love for old school military jets.
I've been curious as to just how close this world is to ours, and now I know why I do not see "The Vessel" in the Hudson Yards of Manhattan, NYC. But even after having had this game, first on my Series S, now on my Series X, it has more than come a long way with details.
I appreciate all the hard work, and the history behind this beautiful sim.

How do you know they were flying home? Is there a questionnaire in the game where they ask you for your address so they can then compare it to your chosen destination? I don't get it.

The only one product of Microsoft which I volontarily bought and paid for,
A must have, a must buy as a sign of respect for the people who made it possible.
I'm retired and I plan to fly to all the places I intend to visit,
all the places around the globe where my ancesters came from,
up to the cradle of humankind..

and then visit them for real, and who knows, fly there for real.

First time visiting your channel as someone who is about to purchase FS and a good set of controllers (I am mainly a racing sim guy). Loved the production and will be watching many more. Really interesting to understand the amount of effort that went into making such a great simulator. Glad I have a decent spec system to run it at its best.

Nice. I remember trying to play MSFS back in the '90s some time. The PC had difficulties and became rather frustrating trying to play. It has been 15-20 years since last looking into MSFS, I've lived in Alaska for 16-years and recently moved to the lower-48 because of my wife's medical needs better care than what is offered in AK. We lived on the ocean and next to a floatplane facility. I worked at an airport for a stint and miss hearing all the planes take off in the morning. I think MSFS would be a good addition to the new PC I am about to build. Even my wife who hates games is showing interest in spending time on MSFS, so she can visit her place of birth (AK), and spend time exploring other parts of the world that she will likely never be able to safely visit due to her condition.
