Shame there's no map expansion...😂😂😂
ОтветитьYou're gonna have to make another video next year when Flight Sim 2024 is out because that's when the planet will be, finally, recreated in the sim. Right now it's a hit or miss with some nice looking areas of the world while others are completely missing or covered in generic scenery because of cloud coverage. I can't wait!
ОтветитьHow Microsoft Flight Simulator Recreated Our Entire Planet*
*Except for China because censorship
Looking forward to Flight Simulator 2!! Coming SOON 🎉
ОтветитьEvery airport in the world? St Helena's still missing years after release..
Ответить10 years.
Until 2024.
Such a shame that the aircraft handling qualities are awful. Nice view through the windows from a dreadful aircraft. Wrong priorities - and yes - I do have a fast CPU and a great video card.
Top end of the MS FS spec.
The stability/maneuverability are awful especially. Perhaps that's why the interviewee didn't mention operating the thing.
White Excellency! Such smart people working on this game. 👌🏻
ОтветитьMortal Kombat is more fun and popular than this boring game!
ОтветитьMost amazing computer experience I've ever had. Hands down. Also banging soundtrack.
ОтветитьI was one of those who flew home. 🥺
ОтветитьAmazing documentary, i did not know Fly sim had such a big evolving curve into tech stuff, incredible. Loved the ending phrase.
ОтветитьUse to burn in new PC's using FS in 1982.
ОтветитьNew subscriber here
ОтветитьThe dev team have god skills to be able to develop such a "game".
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьThe game with the most bugs I've ever seen
ОтветитьI have played 2020 and marveled at it until after about 10 minutes I realised it's just google maps but with a pretend aeroplane on the screen at the same time.
ОтветитьThis is true unless you are in an AI city then this real world is a lie
ОтветитьJust great
ОтветитьI am so inspired by this.. it’s an amazing technological break thru.. I revisit this video .. when I’m out of steam for my project
ОтветитьThis was great! I want this Sim so bad! But I can't afford a high end computer and have a ps5 instead of an Xbox. If I knew this was available on Xbox I may have bought that instead of the PlayStation even though I'm very loyal to playstation. I wish someone would fly over my house and record it for me!
ОтветитьNah imagine if Gta 7 made this bro it would bE FIRED and i think it would surpass minecraft and roblox rank
ОтветитьAmazing work. I wonder how this game will evolve once quantum computers become the norm on households.
ОтветитьI have no interest in playing these games but they are absolutely stunning visually, technically, and an example of how technology can be used to make beautiful things and have an impact on our perspective of our world.
ОтветитьMake a documentary on beamng drive
Ответить"70% of players flew to the same place. They flew home." I don't think that 70% of all the players lived in the same place...
ОтветитьBest flight sim ever!
ОтветитьYou could buy an SR-71 from a museum and could fly around the Earth once daily - so you could refresh the map daily.
Ответить👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьImagine if the game had access to live satellite feeds. You could walk outside and wave up at the sky to your buddy flying over your house. Or stalk someone from above lol.
Ответитьhalf way through, love it, but WHERE'S DREW?? :D
ОтветитьI still fly in my home area EDDB. One day I plan to make a world tour.... one day... Started with MSFS5. You make my dream come true, Flightsim is half of my life. Thanks for that gift. I am happy to experience it in my life. And I think nobody will create a better Sim in the future. By the way, Asobo sold this Masterpice way too cheap.
ОтветитьWow....
We take games like Flight Simulator for granted. I have always wondered what kind of work goes into a masterpiece like MFS.
Now it makes sense, a touch of AI along with the programming Wizardry of the developers/studio.
I have the Xbox Series X version of this beautiful game, and I can never say enough good things about this Simulator, not so much a game. It more than satisfies that curiosity I have always had since I was a kid about flying, and planes, and my love for old school military jets.
I've been curious as to just how close this world is to ours, and now I know why I do not see "The Vessel" in the Hudson Yards of Manhattan, NYC. But even after having had this game, first on my Series S, now on my Series X, it has more than come a long way with details.
I appreciate all the hard work, and the history behind this beautiful sim.
The delivery of that "They flew home" made me tear up. Amazing documentary as always, you guys.
ОтветитьHow do you know they were flying home? Is there a questionnaire in the game where they ask you for your address so they can then compare it to your chosen destination? I don't get it.
ОтветитьExplains how terrorists were using this training simulation for two thousand one... 😮
Ответить"they flew home."
That line hit so hard, I teared up.
When he said the greatest advancement is the cloud, I thought he meant the clouds
ОтветитьDamn that last part really hit me hard.
Very good documentary! Thx
The only one product of Microsoft which I volontarily bought and paid for,
A must have, a must buy as a sign of respect for the people who made it possible.
I'm retired and I plan to fly to all the places I intend to visit,
all the places around the globe where my ancesters came from,
up to the cradle of humankind..
and then visit them for real, and who knows, fly there for real.
All of the awesome technology that makes MSFS 2020 possible and yet the absolute shittiest music score in gaming history 👏
ОтветитьFirst time visiting your channel as someone who is about to purchase FS and a good set of controllers (I am mainly a racing sim guy). Loved the production and will be watching many more. Really interesting to understand the amount of effort that went into making such a great simulator. Glad I have a decent spec system to run it at its best.
ОтветитьMegaton Rainfall is 10GB on PS4 and it has the entire scale of universe. Don’t need 19 million dvds to run it 😂
ОтветитьI worked with GIS in the 2000s. This tech is incredible compared to the rudimentary DTMs and simple building extrusions we used back then.
ОтветитьIt's all really cool..till you realize how someday..the world is going to not be like how it is today..and people will come back to play this game and be telling their kids "This is how the world looked __ years ago"
ОтветитьNice. I remember trying to play MSFS back in the '90s some time. The PC had difficulties and became rather frustrating trying to play. It has been 15-20 years since last looking into MSFS, I've lived in Alaska for 16-years and recently moved to the lower-48 because of my wife's medical needs better care than what is offered in AK. We lived on the ocean and next to a floatplane facility. I worked at an airport for a stint and miss hearing all the planes take off in the morning. I think MSFS would be a good addition to the new PC I am about to build. Even my wife who hates games is showing interest in spending time on MSFS, so she can visit her place of birth (AK), and spend time exploring other parts of the world that she will likely never be able to safely visit due to her condition.
