Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2: How to Fix Lag

I forgot to mention it but IF YOU ARE ON A HDD move the game to an SSD if possible

The lag is intentional. After 32 days of play time I can prove it. If people report you for cheating enough it WILL happen. I’ve had HUNDREDS of messages and bots in game accuse me of cheating and I’m on ps5. Iridescent in ranked and it’s almost every day I get accused. Never once been banned or suspended for account review which blatantly proves I’m not hacking. Yet the devs still don’t give a shit and do it intentionally to probably suppress the amount of reporting or they’re just pieces of trash but I like the second one more. I have 1,000 up and down & the SECOND I join a party with my friends who are garbage, the lag LITERALLY instantly stops. Disgusting.

Yeah this lag has effected me since season 5 reloaded their servers are god awful

The game has built in input delay just the way was designed

I just keep getting a lot of stuttering when tabbing out for even a moment doesn't matter if it's windowed, full, borderless

Only real way to fix it is to close every thing down or restart the game itself which sucks considering I have 32gb or ram to keep browser up and game- not only that but just the rtx should be able to handle the game too- yet it stutters a lot just be a simple tab out- plays smoothly outside of that..

Did all this and still have the same issue. 10ms on fiber and it takes 6-8 shots to kill someone with 90 ping but I'm dead in 3-4 shots. Game is absolute dog water

I just stopped playing it and went back to Mw2019. At least that game runs good for the most part. With Mw2, I tried everything under the sun to make the lag stop, but it's still just a shitshow. And this is just playing with bots, really guys? One job.

On ps5 always lags like a bitch xbox one x nope never smh cant fix the ps5 version
