Where it all began, and how absolutely far we've come. It's insane that a webcam was worthy of applause in 2006, and not even 20 years later the iPhone is a supercomputer in comparison.

Steve just goes and gets the job done and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty...either.

This is basically Apple saying that their previous laptops were all extremely slow compared to typical Windows/PC notebooks that had already been around at the time.

I bought one of these when it first came out. It was at the time such a beautiful machine. They got so hot though you could practically burn yourself. Gave it away after I upgraded to the unibody design.

It’s a pity they didn’t keep MagSafe on the newer Macs. I have it on my MacBook Pro 2010 and it’s saved me on several occasions, i’m a bit of a klutz.

I had one of these, I smashed it with a hammer when it stopped working, jus cuz 🤷

i actually had one of these MacBook Pros as my first ever laptop in around 2013 when my mum got a crappy samsung laptop

im not really a fan of apple products, but this looks cool and ahead of its time!

Woooo Intel duo core was a real deal back then🔥

It’s insane to think that Intel-powered laptops were once considered the most energetically efficient machines in the world, and nowadays they’re far behind M1 and M2, and even some AMD Ryzen counterparts. It amazes me to watch these presentations and compare to what we have today.

it makes me sad to see how much Steve deteriorated in just 2 years. in 2008 he looked so thin & ill. greatly missed

I had one of these like a few years ago, I have to say, it REALLY felt modern It didn't even feel like a 5 year old computer.

back when Apple considered a damage to the product is damage to the company, but now a damage to the product is more profit for the company.

Crazy how far we have come…
