Sitopaladi Churna is an Ayurvedic formulation that is used in the management of seasonal colds and coughs. It shows anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties which helps in managing respiratory problems[1]. It is usually prescribed to treat diseases like bronchitis, pneumonia, allergic conditions, and viral infection of the respiratory tract. It also helps with digestion, increases appetite, and provides strength to the body.
According to Ayurveda, it has Rasayana (rejuvenating) and Kapha balancing properties which help boost immunity and expel excessive sputum from the lungs, respectively.
It also helps improve digestion due to its Deepan (appetizer) and Pachan (digestive) properties.
Sitopaladi Churna, when taken in the prescribed dose and duration, is considered safe for use. However, if you are suffering from any chronic disease, it would be best to avoid self-medication and consult a doctor before using Sitopaladi Churna.
