on the left side of the server is a small vertical slide out tab, right below the power button. That will have your service ID written on it, besides the location on the top that you mentioned.
Question: did you put the ESXI on the thumb drive that you made internal or is that the "OS" location where you installed the ESXi and you used an external USB port? I'll have to watch this a third time to see if I've missed you answering that. Thanks for the tutorial. Nice job.

one with vSphere Client ver 4.0.0 vmware
ESXI 4.0.0, and another server with nothing but the
Dell's factory system, the one with vmware
I have it with 3 virtualized windows 2003 servers, but
for some reason vmware is limited until
Win 2003 version, won't let me install windows 2012
or higher, how can I do to allow me
install windows 2012 and how ???
nice vid, but you could've loaded ESXI to an SD card since you had the slot? unless you will be using it for something else?
