It's 70% brighter than a Regular Oled, B3 for example. Vs G2 it's about 40% brighter

Hey Midas, I have the G3 55” in bedroom and just ordering 77” for living room. Love the look of the LEDs, I will be using the one wall wall mount supplied and would really like to know how you mounted your LEDs as the tv if the supplied one mount is used will be flush with wall. Your reply would really be appreciated, thanks and keep up the good work!

Which backlight setup do you use in back of the TV. I'm since over 7 years on Philips side, just due to the Ambilight Fact. But now seeing the backlight chaining on the G3 I'm wondering which setup do you use. This could consider a change for me ;-)

the tv is great, but paired with a gaming pc is the real deal for gaming , but thats said hdr movies on it looks amazing

This was really a nice review. I have this TV and the picture quality is just unmatched right now. I will say though that the sound on this TV is probably the worst of any TV that I’ve had previous to this I had 77 LG C9 which sounded much better than this TV. Sony with the acoustic surface sound I have in the bedroom TV that is miles above the sound of this TV.
I use a Sonos system with this TV and now you’re getting the full package of sound and picture.

Wait a minute did it say 89.99 for Spider-Man!! it's 100 bucks! For a video game! That isn't the regular price right? I don't own a current gen console and I am moving soon and was looking to get this tv but the price is quite steep! I been saving as much as I could but if I did the tv, console and game I'd be wiped out haha my next of kin would enjoy it cause I'd be going to the hospital for a heart attack after seeing the bill lol

OLEDs shouldn’t be exposed to static elements, like taskbars that don’t move or auto-hide or windows that are left open, for hours at a time. This increases the risk of screen burn-in, and long shifts of desktop work with mostly-static content may not be ideal for an OLED display.

That's a clean setup

The reasons OLED is the best picture is because the diodes are organic it’s real color not lab made. Your TV is the best out right now.

Either the tv is uneven or the window frame is uneven. Either way, that would irritate me to no end. Great looking tv though.

this is the first oled tv i have owned, tbh i dont find it that much better than the q90r it replaced, could be because the q90r had a very good picture itself? but my biggest issue is i find the sound to be awful, the speakers on the q90r were good with plenty of bass and clear vocals, this tv i find it a struggle to understand what people are saying unless the volume is turned up, but then you can hear the poor sound even more lol i use an avr and surround speakers for movies and games but for normal tv i dont like to use them

Is it worth upgrading from my Sony A80J?

When they say the brightness difference they compare Evo Panel with non-evo panel ones so not even C2 but C1. You should compare the brightness of G3 to C1 or A80J(not 77" model as it got Evo Panel as well) to confirm if it's 70% or less. ;D

I got one yesterday......well Games look AWFULL on TV's compared to a PC Monitor...... Everything is too zoomed in.... Return/Refund ! - Also GOOD LUCK with the BURN IN OLED PLAGUE

Hi I had a few questions, I have already watched your video a couple of time it’s well made 1- I went to see a demo at a showroom the power went and once came back the tv did not turn on due to pixel cleaning which happens after 4 hours of use, so if I watch 5 hours at a stretch then put off my tv and need to start it again will it start or go into pixel cleaning mode? 2- how does it handle black or dark scene I have the A80k and it's a great tv but not so great in dark scene even in vivid how does the g3 fare in dark scenes 3- this g3 is having lower colour impact than sony can it be turn up via setting? And lastly is it too bright will it hurt your eyes after watching for hours dark room, please help enlighten so I can take a purchase decision...thanks
