ОтветитьI have had the worst pain in the middle of my upper back for a few days. I kept doing these hip stretches because usually my back pain is sourced in my hips. However the extra tip of taking arms to the sides is what did the trick to get that knot that was deep in there. I had to hold the poses for much longer. That took care of 90% of the pain, and then I used a foam roller afterwards and now I barely feel it! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьJust found this lovely lady. Excellent tutorial and encouragement. I’ve been practicing Shaolin Kung Fu for over a year and I have big muscular legs and limited hip flexibility that affect my kicking. I’m going to give this a try this evening in the hope of improving. Thank you.

ОтветитьI’ve had tights hips my whole life, especially my left side. This was so good!! Can you do a video for stretching and lengthening the outside of the hips? I can’t cross my left leg over my right.

You’re videos have been amazing for me. It’s giving me a positive, healthy way to interact with my body after years of being told I was only going to decline into more pain. It’s given me the mindfulness to stop fearing movement so much. Your videos are currently the most helpful tool in my chronic pain tool box!
My hips are very tight, so gave this a try. Started out ok enough, but had a problem when I switched sides. I popped my left knee cap years ago, and when I extend my leg behind me and put my knee dpwn to the floor, my knee cap starts clicking and moving (I lost some cartilage there when I popped it). It's a horrible sensation, like it may pop again. Any suggestions for how to modify?
