Learn ToonSquid Basics in 15 Minutes | 2D Animation iPad App

here because I'm still taken aback at how horrid and clunky procreate dreams launche. this app had me at the very least making animation in mere minutes as opposed to the days it took me to get over no keyframe copy paste and frequent crashing in dreams. I actually opened up the easings menu and audibly gasped; ALL the usual presets are there and then some. There's even rasterize and the ability to make 'symbols', and camera-- I'm actually taken aback on how innovative and brilliant this little app is, and it's only 9 bucks. Procreate's dev has really let a lot of artists down with the same corperstized pretension that they claimed to be against. It's so frustrating. I wish they didnt spend 2-3 years trying to convince us that a limited, half-finished animation program was going to be 'innovative'.

Rant aside, this app is amazing. I cant wait to dive in!!

oh my gosh i wish i'd found this app sooner. it's so intuitive to use, and feels like a more natural extension of procreate than dreams does... so much fun

I’m a terrible gambler, but from what I’ve seen… the toonsquid design squad still squeezes the ink out of the procreate savages. I say this simply because your timeline features seem more efficient. My favorite so far has been lip syncing to an audio track. I’m new to it all and totally appreciate your app.

Which ipad to I need to use for toonsquid?

This tutorial is cool and all but sadly I can’t download it cuz it’s too expensive 40 dollars for one app , I’m hoping one day it becomes free or for 2 bucks

hi, i don't know if you're taking questions on this but how do you keyframe the perspective option? without turning off the pixel layer

I was in the process of starting my animated short film in another app, but it was just too complicated. I then ended up stumbling upon this and this was a life saver!

When I first got toonsquid I watched all of this and it helped so SO much but can you tell me more about the library

How do you scale each drawing at the same time on the timeline? Constantly trying to resize them all correctly one by one is a hassle.

This really helped! I don’t know if I’m blind or it’s hidden, but I can’t find the symmetry ruler ;-;

With the key frames are you able to like change how the drawing looks through out it or would I need to draw each one separately? Like if I was making an animation of somebody blinking for example.

can you make turoial for character hierarchachy? i was able to make one characters. but when i have two characters in folder it all messed up

oh my gosh!! this app looks nice to use for beginners and people who are complex, I’m more of the simple person so this is really cool!! Flipaclip was pretty nice but I might consider this one since it looks very easy to use!! There’s other animation apps that are cool but they are extremely complex. This is in between complex and simple, looks cool to use, maybe I’ll start using it next year or November but once again, it costs money. This is really cool but I’ll decide :3

It looks great, but I have a question about moving objects on the same layer. I didn’t understand how to select a certain part of the drawing and move it to the place needed if it’s on the same layer as a main drawing. For example, I want to move a nose a bit right, but I cannot select just the nose to move it. Or Am I doing am wrong?
