Please update your parts list to specify "Female" 3/16 to 1/4 adapter. Male is WAY more common. Actually....I can't find this brass fitting at Home Depot, True Value, or even Amazon. :/
ОтветитьThis was great, definitely inspiring a DIY build for my mountain bike. I cant ride it part of the year in AZ though I am wildly underwhelmed by commercial offerings something this may buy me a little more time outside.
ОтветитьI’m going to try this Thanks
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you! Would you happen to have a shopping list? I looked but I didn’t see it. I tried to remember from you video but I kept forgetting things. Lol. Old brain here lol. UPDATE. I just found your list. Again thank you ❤
ОтветитьHow long does a gallon of water usually last / how much water do you go through? Trying to plan our own DIY system for camping and unsure how much water we would likely go through
ОтветитьSo I could not find a fitting that would screw onto the handle. SO... I snipped the ridged tubing of the wand, warmed up some 3/8 clear tubing, pushed it on the stub, 3/8 to 1/4 push coupler and money in the bank. Have my on off and quick way to disconnect to refill. Thank you for the ideas
ОтветитьOk, that was awesome. I have been searching for weeks on how to do this for my upcoming Car Show. with the blazing asphalt of the car show, it's just brutal outside. So this year, we're gonna try this. I have 4 weeks to make it and verify it works. My distance is 20X30 ft. (2 10x30 tents). I'm hoping I can cool it all down all the HOT Car Guys and Gals. We will see how it works....
ОтветитьThanks so much for the idea ! I “updated” the setup by using a cheap , battery powered indoor plant irrigation system , instead of using the drip fitting it came with , I used the fittings for misters you showed and worked like a charm for my balcony that has no water source .
I have a water dispenser so I have those big 5 gallon water jugs , and I used one of them to stick the pump in . I love how easy it was
Cool! Can I buy this set up? Peace from Costa Rica!
ОтветитьI need yo cover a 100m of patio
I used a misting system hooked it up to a presure pump opened the water and only half of the sprayers work
The begining say first 5 meters working then it starts to drip and the other half nothing not even a drop
Please help whats wrong
Absolutely awesome idea! Gonna do this next time we go to the beach or tailgating.
ОтветитьI'd have better luck finding frog hairs than that 3/16 x 1/4 hose barb to fip adapter. Plenty of male threads on the large side but female threads, super hard to locate.
ОтветитьI run mine in Louisiana when I have to be in the vehicle not moving for a while. Stay in the vehicle with the air on. But run one up front to my vehicle front grill. So when the vehicles cooling fans are running. It sucks the mist through passing over the radiator keeping the engine cooler than it just sitting sucking in 90-100° temps.
I figure it can’t be all that bad. If your flying down interstate while it’s pouring. The drops hitting the grill or following behind other vehicles it’s sucking up mist anyway.
An if a motor had to run on idle for periods of time in the heat. Not getting forced air from moving. But forced air from the cooling fans.
A cooler engine is less wear an not as hard on the engine if it’s running cooler.
I don't have any hoes :,)
ОтветитьThis is BRILLIANT! Thank you!!
Wondering how long the tank will last before needing a refill?
Amazon sells 49' misters for under $13 that have all the parts needed. I bought 2 so I'd have extra parts. Going to use under my gazebo to keep cool should there be rolling blackouts this summer. Let's go Brandon!
ОтветитьPutting one on my kayak sun shade!!!!
ОтветитьI want to create this misting system with a 1-2 gallon tank that I can connect to a power outlet rather than a hand pump. Is there any frugal method to hook a misting system to an electric powered pumping system? I do not have a water source I can connect the misting system to.
ОтветитьOh my goodness! I am in Vegas and TOTALLY making one of these for my condo patio this summer! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьBrilliant! I needed a portable misting solution for soccer games, thanks!
ОтветитьGreat idea! I am thinking about something like this to set up various small misting areas in my garden. Would it work with a battery powered sprayer like the 2 or 4 gallon ryobi? How much pressure will the misters need to produce mist? Thanks for this idea!
ОтветитьWhere did you get your 3/16 to 1/4 hose barb adapter from? Having issues trying to find it
ОтветитьMan I was thinking of doing usb mini water pumps but this makes so much sense... I'm thinking of filtering the cooler water while going camping to run this... Keeping my ice "dry" and getting cold water... I just wonder if I can find a pressure pump and an adapter without opening up the box and taking the thing apart n the store...
ОтветитьSorry, but this doesn't look very good. That is not mist, this going to soak you. Misting systems need much more pressure than a little chemical sprayer can offer. If you want a misting system get a 100 psi diaphragm pump and a battery.
ОтветитьSweet! Pump your ass off and stay cool!
ОтветитьAwesome set up. I am going to try this! Thank you
Ответитьexcuse me sir you are a genius
ОтветитьHow long does it run before pressure dies down?
ОтветитьGreat setup! About wow long do your misters run before having to re-pump/pressurize the tank again?
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Do you have to pump the chemical sprayer pretty often?
ОтветитьI was looking at buying a system for over our pigs’ pens while at shows. I new there had to be a DIY. Your video is saving me $100+ thanks so much!
ОтветитьDo you respond to the comments??!! Love your videos!!
ОтветитьGonna try this in the next few days
ОтветитьI love this idea, but I'm in an apartment right now. They frown on DIY anything!
