Personally I like the RuneScape approach. Either keep the vial for another potion, or drink it like a barbarian and smash the vial on the ground afterwards.

this is wrong. For teh squeamish the correct way to get rid of the vial is to sell it back to the vendor for 1cp... however if you have the haggling skill you can first CLEAN the vial and sell it back as a 'clean vial' for 5cp but the merchants counter haggle would drop you to 4cp so just enjoy satisfaction of mind knowing the vial you just drank out of was clean. ALSO medicinal herbs should be applied topically not ingested

The way the dev coded it is -10 hp for eating the vile but the potion heals for 60 hp. So overall you gain 50 hp

This is why small health potiond only heal you 2-10 hp and big health potions heal you 50-300 hp.
Large potions have less glass per amount of potion in the glass.

Eating the vial deals 2 hp per second for 10 seconds, the vial gives 50 hp. Why eat the vial and get 30 hp when you can just drink the potion for 50 hp, break the vial down to get crystal glass dust for crafting?

they say that eating the glass vial of a potion be it either HP or MP healing gives either extra healing stats or a small few buffs upon comsuming em However u risk semi shredding & destroying the entire inside of your mouth & throat doing this. hence why only the most fearless & hardcore (like myself beforehand) should even try attempting 😐

It only works if you eat both at the same time. Because he waited to eat the glass, it now causes damage when he eats it later instead of the potion cancelling out the shards of glass.

THIS is why everyone stocks up on potions but saves them for when they actually need them. Nobody likes consuming potions needlessly, what if they need them ...later? 🤣🤣🤣
