How do I train for a barrier

I’m in a wheelchair. Is there a way to teach them to do more than the chin rest or foot press if I’m in the chair when I have a panic attack?

My dog is going to be a anxiety and autism service dog but she is a beagle so she doesn’t really care about it. She can do DPT but not for long and only ever if there are treats. I don’t think she wants to be a SD but we can not get another dog

I am struggling with teaching my service dog depressure therapy across my legs because what happens is that he'll lay down on my legs for around 2 seconds and then he'll just roll off my legs cuz he thinks I'm playing around and every time I try to reinforce him he just loses his focus

I only apply vocal commands when my dog does a task perfectly, because I don't want him to think that an imperfect bahaviour is what is attached to the vocal command.

Do you have to teach a dog to come to you first before this task?

My dog is a rescue and I am not sure if someone has trained him before, but he is able to recognize when I am going into anxiety or panic attack. He starts licking my face and hands and puts his body weight on me. Dogs are amazing creatures <3 and thank you for dedicating your time and service to training them to help people in need.

My dog does all of these things on his own. I didn't teach him. He's very intuned to my feelings. I do practice these techniques with him. 😊

What if my dog leaves my lap as soon as I give treat? I don't even have time to give him one more, he is off.

My dogo does chin rest when he's cuddling and I found it super helpful so I'm going to try and teach him to do it

I have a white English Golden Retriever that just turned 1 yr. He's huge and STRONG for me (65yrs).
I'm going to get serious this year after I get him fixed. I named him Bow Tie Bo for short. I'm determined to make him into a Gentlemen!!! 🤣 he's getting there PAINFULLY (for me) SLOWLY. He's having a lot of FUN along the way himself, the goofy soul.
You didn't mention the P.A.T. test. Do they still do that? Public Access Test.
I use to work for disabled. If so where do I find someone who can administer the test?
