Funny how CoD makes the old maps more colourful where most modern "realistic" games are stripped from all colour.

I noticed there is actually a lot of multiplayer footage in here.

Could it be that Tom is our sole DF staffer that is not completely turned off by the concept of playing games with other humans?

My wife and I had a blast playing the spec ops missions together many years ago, haven't played since.

I wonder if there’s some variability in the specific consoles these comparisons use. I saw a similar review comparison in which it was the PS5 dropping the frames.

I remember when mw2 came out last year and was supposed to be a 2year game with dlc 🤔

The afterimages you can see on the gun and things when moving quickly are so gross looking

Its funny that all the comments are fans worrying about how the game looks. The game looks okay. Idk if its 4k or 1080 and it feels way over 60fps. It's all ab gameplay and the gameplay is GOOD the SBMM is terrible

For me
Pros:
-PS3 MW2 was the best CoD.
-Haven’t bought a CoD game in years so don’t feel scammed.
-The nostalgia is excellent.
-Me and my son love the split screen online.

Cons:
- Had to buy my first M2 due to size.
-as usual heavily use of micro transactions.

Overall worth the pre order 👍

Oh my god , it looks awful .. almost no shading , shadows are non existent........ it looks FLAT , like game from 10 years ago . Not even HW Tesselation on ground .... It really looks BAD ....

Anyone else think the original multiplayer maps don't look bad??

I don’t play COD anymore it’s just not the same as it was during the golden years of MW and MW2. They realized that the cash cow were the kids with mommy and daddy’s credit cards but those kids wouldnt play if they were continually slaughtered every match by better players so they decided to even the playing field by introducing and steadily increasing lag compensation over the years, SBMM and of course what really takes the cake is the lack of dedicated servers. With how much COD as a franchise rakes in year after year there is no reason Activison cant re invest some money. They choose to wash, rinse and repeat year after year and the consumer still eats it up. They have literally billions of reasons why they don’t have to change shit and I for one won’t continue to contribute to this. Hopefully, now that. Xbox owns ABK things might change for the better but not holding my breath. Hopefully one day soon EA decides to pull their heads out of their asses and gives Respawn the green light to make Titan Fall 3. Give COD some competition. Once sales drop that’s when things change but until then business will continue as usual. Rant over.

One of the worst games that came out years ago they brought it back. Why who knows money probably and people want to sit there and cry about something that has never changed that’s what baffles me

Sold my Series S I got around launch for a Series X and the graphical upgrade is immense. Series S definitely feels like a next gen machine but that GPU is just too underpowered compared to the 10.3 and 12 TFLOPS of the PS% and XSX.

The 6v6 multiplayer graphics on console are a huge step backwards (ps5), compared to MWII. The maps look like they are rendering at 540p - 720p.

We used to se a generational gap with almost 15 apart. Now it all looks the same.

Beautiful game. Its a shame their disbanding lobbies and matchmaking system have completely ruined the online experience in recent years

Wow. I really don't want to overwrite the good memories of Modern Warfare 2009 with this. Original maps style look much better actually. Much more trees in Estate, more green, darker, more gray. Better style.

Stop your shareholder production cycle, Activision. Let Infinity Ward, Treyarch and Sledehammer games work together or let Infinity Ward take the lead and produce one good Call of Duty once in 3 years. Not every year even worse. Just stop it.

I'm a big fan of the COD campaigns. This one sounds very disappointing 😞 they shoulda stuck to what works but I guess that's a budget drain.

Technically its a fantastic result as per usual 👍 the i9 engine is a goody

I’d pay $20 for the campaign only.
