People always complain about how Melissa always plays favorites with Maddie, which she did, & it was a problem, but she said that she didn't think of Maddie once. And she was complimenting Mackenzie so much!!! I really think that she was proud of Kenzie this time <3

I've gotta say that Mackenzie did absolutely beautiful for this solo. She nailed it, and I just love the way she danced and showed her facial expressions while she was dancing. It was amazing!

She did so so amazing, just as good as Maddie. I hate that Abby and other people compare them when clearly they are both amazing, extremely talented dancers. Mackenzie did amazing in this dance, espeically since lyrical isn't what she normally does!

Mackenzie’s dance was so beautiful she nailed that dance

the reason i love both versions of this dance so much is because you see both sides when you watch them. maddies emotions and faces are more happy, like she's finally leaving behind a tough and sad period in her life and is finally done crying. kenzie has the opposite. its like she's the one during the difficult and sad period, and is masking it with a smile and rarely shows the emotional/sad side of it, but when she does its beautiful and makes me tear up. they're both equally talented, just in different realms of dance. also, for seldom performing lyrical pieces, kenz pulled this off and showed abby she's not just maddies little sister!!!

Instead of just sad like maddie her expressions showed more like sad smile. Like pain. It was beautiful this dance

When makenzie did this dance it blew me away like absolutely beautiful

I don’t think Kenzie did as good as Maddie but I do think she killed it. This proves that Kenzie is definitely capable of doing mature choreography and winning with it because if Maddie was doing a solo as well Kenzie would have won with this. Kenzie is probably the most improved on the show and could have improved even more if she had more of these solos.

This solo is the only one on this show that made me cry it was so good

People say that her turns aren't that great but they don't look that different than Maddie's turns from s1.

I think Abby should have given Kenzie more lyrical solos like this.

I think that instead of doing a lot of cutesy acro dances, Kenzie should’ve been given the opportunity to do more lyrical solos at a younger age. Abby gave Maddie that chance and look where it got her. Kenzie is an amazing dancer but, if she had gotten the chance to practice with lyrical and contemporary more, she would’ve been so much better at both styles.
