this was my first isometric RPG, my first turn-based RPG, and my first modern fantasy RPG, which is a bit unfortunate, because it simply set the bar too high for any other similar game I've played to match. The Witcher 3 is an exception, but for the most part, with each new RPG I play I always end up saying well that was nice, but it just wasn't quite divinity.

I have played this game till the end five times with one particular friend. I also finished it twice solo, and a few times with some other friends.

It's just SO good.

The headline can be taken literally, by the way. Way overhyped game with essential problems (in all areas of design, but all deliberate or "indifferent" in a way, typically overlooked in pretentiousness). One can also simply call it boring and full of stoppers and disingenuous pretense of freedom (only to lure one into a game stopper, with it or the "right path", which actually mostly exists, not clear in any way). And so on. It's tiresome to talk about this game. Like being in it.
The developer made games before... They were mostly deemed mediocre. Yet there is no essential difference between those and this one, except a kind of big hulking system on top of it.

I just got it . I'm having trouble getting into it but I'm forcing myself . I am an Rpg vet . But I've never played a divinity game. The music is amazing I just hope I can like it. I can be a picky, fussy prick sometimes 😅😅

Man... the 'Battle for Divinity' ost is insanely good. It truly encapsulates all there is about a fight to decide who is fit to ascend to godhood!

I can't play this game beyond the underground Dragonfly Kidknap section. But the music is still amazing.

Never played the game but this soundtrack is awesome!

Where does A Tear in the Veil play? That sons is a literal master piece and I'm so sad I haven't gotten the chance to hear it until now

I really loved the D&D theme that this game took, but i felt that if you play on tactic mode its just become unrewarding... You cant finish the game on hard mode if you dont take a fighter, enchanter, a ranger and a wizard... And even after that you need to be cheesy to succeed... In chapter 5 i just quit... And started on explorer (medium) mode...

I really hope that those scaling are going to be better in Boulder Gate 3, i dont wanna feel sorry that i took Shadowblade because he wasn't resourceful enough... Hope i can pick who i want with any class and still succeed to pass the game even on hard mode

The music in this game is absolutely amazing.

One of my favorite things about this game is that after a bitter and terrifying fight, they play an arrestingly beautiful song, which gives the player space to stop and reflect. Whether it's Rivellon playing after the Lady Vengeance came through the hall of echoes, or Lohse's song after fighting her demon, it's a pattern that this game follows consistently

The soundtrack is pretty nice but I miss the Kirill essence... He was just too good

Absolute best game I played in a long time and the soundtrack is amazing. Such great music but "A Part of Their Story" draws me in the most of all these great music tracks.

Rivellon brings too much feelings...


The spray of the sea water reflects the sun's rays all across the ship's deck. You look over at Reaper's Coast and then back to your companions. You concentrate on the sway of the ship and the sound of the sails billowing in the wind. You look down from the sails and see the sailors preparing the ship for dock. All of you know that adventure and battle and victory awaits you on those shores. You know that divinity is within your reach....and you also know that death is creeping around every corner.


All you can do is smile as the sun starts to set below the horizon. The fields of the distant farms glow golden and the lights of the town start to pop up like lightning bugs. Your bags are packed. Your spells are ready. Your weapons are sharp. Just another day in Rivellon.

Are these musical scores copyright protected? We presume that we can at least play these on our iPod or in the car.
