I am bit confused, is it third generation or 4th generation sequencing technique? 3rd gen involves PacBio I guess?!

what is measured is the variation of current through the nanopore based on the movement of electrolytes added in the solution.
The analyte volume will affect the amount of electrolytes that can travel through, causing vartiations of current's intensity.
the scheme is misleading.
