I did all steps but when i log in on pc with the same email i linked on my ps4 it starts a new game could anyone help me please?

I’ve only played on ps5. I’d like to cross play with my PC now.
I downloaded genshin on my PC and I was prompted to enter login information- i need to make another account?
And when you linked your email in this video, was that your psn credentials?

Wait - so when you first downloaded genshin on your PC, did you have to first create a new account (same/diff email?) - then link it? I’m confused.

I have a really mf problem with mine, so when I started playing genshin the PlayStation only had one account, a shared one with my dads email, genshin did not give me the option for a password on the PlayStation, I’m wanting to be able to like my ps4 account with my dads email onto my phone so I can log into both of my genshin accounts in my phone aswell

I just came across this because i got a pc i thought il be traped on ps4 with my main genshin account forever but i can link my account toc pc OMG TY

So does the email i use to link my ps4 account to pc have to be a different one to the email i use for my hoyoverse/mihoyo account? (as in if the email i use already for my mihoyo/hoyoverse account and use to login to other games like honkai does that have to be different or can i just use the same details) and then i just use that new email to log in?

I did the same thing and none of my progress transfered to my pc it's completely empty

PSN automatically created a mihoyo account for me using my PSN email. So if I link that already existing Mihoyo account to a mobile account (both have different amounts of progress) will it delete one of the accounts? And if so which one?

If I create a new mihoyo account from the PSN account menu does that delete the other mihoyo account that was originally created? Or would my PSN now be linked to two different mihoyo accounts? Is that even possible and how would that work for web events and all of that? Will this delete my progress on PSN after linking it to a new account?

if i uninstall and do a complete reinstall of the game on pc am I able to just link my already existing mihoyo account from there before logging in (without having to create a 2nd account) or will that still wipe my PSN progress

This works if you've NEVER played on PC before. However, it's much harder if you have. There's no easy way to do it.

Does this entirely transfer or could I still play on both back and fourth? For example if I link ps5 to mobile can I play mobile when I’m not home and still play on the ps5 with all the stuff?

I have some questions: do I log in to a new game in mobile with the email I used in my ps4? What if I already made a mihoyo/hoyolab account using the ps4 email that is linked to a burner email prior to starting a new game on mobile? Will I still be able to link my account after doing that?
