I thought my G20 was a lemon. Turns out I had weak little girl grip.

Sounds like they touched on this very briefly. So the single port comp shoots 115 no problem but the double can have issues?

What is the setup on the double port?

I had so many issues getting my AA comp to run smoothly on my G34. Had to drop all the way down to 11 lb., spring and it will only cycle with 124 grain. Shooting the 124's bring the recoil back up. So it doesn't make much sense for the comp.

Anyone know the setup details?

Some side ports angled toward the rear might help with felt recoil as far as a linear pattern goes... idk... good looking setups 🔥

I am not following this, is the difference between 115 vs 124? or it is really about the muzzle velocity ? like 1280 fps for 115 vs 1080 for 124gr? will 147gr/990fps too less to drive a comp? thanks

Currently running a single port comp on my P320. I like compensated pistols, but a compensator can only assist with recoil control, it can't do it on its own. The felt recoil is just inertial mass moving against your grip. Without a proper grip the force interacts with your hand like a lever. The higher the grip sits in your hand the more leverage the gun has to work against you. Simple physics. The Sig pistols already have a slightly higher barrel profile and they have a lower beaver tail. That's one reason why Sigs can feel snappier. My P220 I used to carry on duty was a fantastic pistol, but it's recoil impulse was slightly "snappier" than my 1911. That wasn't the reason I sold it though, I traded it in for a higher capacity G21. The P220 was a lighter gun than my 1911 and also had a slightly higher barrel axis and lower beaver tail that moved your grip lower on the frame. You learn to shoot the gun or you alter the gun.

My question is where did you get the slide to match the compensator also I don’t mean to be that guy but if I didn’t know what the fuck I was doing I would have no idea what this video is about and oh yeah I’m getting a double slot to go with my compact thanks for the info now the only other info I’m looking for is where do I purchase this from🤣🤣🤣😂😂😭

yeah man ..im 6'2 XXL hands Glock 19 feels like a toy..ive gotta practice my trigger finger to not over reaching ive caught myself fingering the trigger guard ..SIG any day for me .. but if its our duty pistol gotta work with whats issued ..

What size barrel and what size slide do you have on your legion grip module? I am trying to build the same exact handgun. I love the look of yours.

Milking the trigger? You mean trigger freeze from the reset being kinda crappy on the 320?

Love u guys, i know sig pays u but ill stick with my 19x when my life depends on it , it always goes bang and i shoot it very well.. also ive never had a malfunction from 115 to 147

For $110 im putting on my gun what ever works BEST. The single port seems to jump atleast twice as much as double. I get for looks and concealability its not first choice but performance is probably around 3fold. Ill figure out a way ti make it work 😈

Are both the pistols in the video factory spring rates? Wondering if a slight bump down on the recoil spring would fix the random malfunction with the 115s/dual port?

There's no substitute for a good solid grip, but comps sure are fun.

I appreciate the “proper pistol for your hand size” comment. No reason for people to lug around too much or too little. Pick what’s comfortable (but reliable) for you.

Was that dual port comp on an original compact barrel as in 3.6in non threaded/4.3in threaded barrel?

G19X Gen 5, Blacklist threaded barrel, agency arms double port comp. Can’t run 55g, 115g, 124g, or 147g. ONLY +P ammo. I still have the stock recoil spring in there @ 18LBS. Any pointers let me know 🤘🏼

Should have compared them to a Spectre Comp :) I was wondering if there's any noticeable difference in the COMPs.

LOL... A LOT OF HIGH SPEED GEAR. I RUN A GLOCK 29 WITH JUST NIGHT SIGHTS AND 180GR UNDERWOOD GOLD DOTS. GOOD LUCK FINDING BRASS FOR THE G29, IT COULD BE 9 METERS OUT.

I had to change out my recoil spring to a lighter spring and a custom guide rod. Mine would only run hotter ammo with a factory spring. (with a dual port comp) Now I can run 115 grain FMJ no problem.
