Oculus Air Link Vs Virtual Desktop - Oculus Quest 2

I know this is an old video, but I just got a quest pro and im using Oculus air link to my PC, using a 6hz wifi connection, to a wifi extender to my PC ( which has a ethernet connection to my PC) Doing this I see basically zero latency in my games. I do have a rather beefy PC but it works really well. ofc this does make my PC work a bit harder, but its ezy wireless VR gaming and very simple to setup. you don't have to buy an expensive router which has wifi 6, you can just buy a wifi extender which has wifi 6. got mine for $100, which most wifi 6 routers cost double that.

Eigentlich würde ich die Q3 sofort zu Release kaufen, aber nicht mit 128GB, verstehe diese Entscheidung überhaupt nicht

Just bought virtual desktop. And WOW just wow.
The image is so much clearer and less delay even without a router in my room.

you can use overclocked gtx 950 for quest air link btw

Virtual desktop broke my PC.

I really need to see a comparison for the first Quest, since they delayed Air Link on it for some reason. I have a decent 5Ghz router (it was expensive, but is old and doesn't do Wifi6) and Air Link is horrible, way too laggy.

AIRLINK works great for me, but I think color gets washed out a bit, I imagine this will be fixed eventually. A good cable is still supreme, but it can't match the freedom of going wireless :)

Meta doesn't give a damn... link and the oculus app on pc it's outdated for many years now. Virtual Desktop saved us in my view.

Man my luck is so good, I just downloaded virtual desktop for like 40 dollars, and Oculus releases a new free way to play pcvr wirelessly

Wait, airlink doesn’t work on quest 1? I used to try it so much and actually got it working for a minute once.

i got the oculus app from bluestacks so the menu is different... is this still possible now?

On airlink batman VR won't recognize the controllers but no issues at all with virtual desktop.
