I've owned about 8 of them with all sorts of engine configurations. One of them a 1988 420SEL saved my life in a violent crash with a Ford Expedition. The W126 is considered one of the best Mercedes ever produced, they produced it for 12 years and it was ahead of its time. Many amazing innovations were packed in that car and safety was massively improved. The W126 is a Panzer Tank.
