Bruv this game is the goat of coop games i used to play this with my brother and cuzin like 3 players 2 would plaY while the 3rd one would watch as soon as one of the 2 players gets out they'll give the controller to the third player
Playing like this would make the game more dangerous and fun to play as you would have to caefully think your every move.
IF ANYONE HASN'T PLAYED THIS GAME YET I STRONGLY RECOMNED IT PAYING IT THE 3 PLAYER WAY.

My wife is not a gamer and has no idea how to control the camera whilst moving, making the boss battles brutal for her. Only improvement I could consider is a Z-targeting to make the game perfect

My GF didnt play games AT ALL before It Takes Two, and now she has her own switch and copy of Pokemon Violet

My wife and I play and it’s such a great couple game. This and overcooked!

Playing this with my significant other rn, and it really test our patience and cooperativeness to each other nevertheless we had lots of laughters and enjoyment of this masterpiece.

There are spiders. Not for a super long time, about 5–10 minutes in the second to last level, but they are in there.

The one thing I really don't like about this game, just from what I've seen, is the godawful mocap cutscene "animation". It looks decently alright with the humans but Sonic Adventure 2 and Sid the Science Kid taught us all LONG ago that applying mocap to a stylized cartoony character design just looks like shit. And it's weird because the in-game animations are these gorgeous, fantastically done hand animation that REALLY fits the character designs, the running and jumping and everything when you're actually playing are amazing. But then you get to the cutscenes and it's the Mascot Suit Problem, "these characters shouldn't move like this", it's almost uncanny valley.
But otherwise... yeah this looks super fun to play! I'm glad it's got stuff that makes it accessible to those who aren't HARDCORE MOUNTAIN DEW AND DORITOS APEX LEGENDS TITANFALL FPS XBOX LIVE GAMERSCORE GAMERS, my gf really likes 2D platformers but isn't really as into games as I am, and I've been wanting to try this, so I'm sure it'll make a great Christmas gift for us both. Thanks for the review!

Me and my girlfriend are playing It Takes Two, and we can't get enough. It's such an awesome game, every level is different, gameplay style is different, and it's engaging. I was late to work twice this week because the game took us to 1am a couple nights. It's been so much fun

I 100% DO NOT recommend to any person who has strong emotions!! lol This game traumatized me for life!

yes yes and YES. I played it with my brother and wow we need more games lile these! Co op games now are so focused on online play, when really the best fun is at home with the ppl you love. You rlly go through all the emotions in one game. Made me nostalgic of the times I'd play with my brother on the Sega, 64 and then Gamecube. Good times ❤️
