Kaffee seemed to be on Jessup’s side and was all set to tell his clients to plead guilty and take a deal…until Jessup’s ego got in the way at the end of the video.

For all of his strength and bravado, Jessup was absolutely awful at reading the room.

You can tell right away, that Lt. Kaffee didn't want to be within the proverbial million miles of Col. Jessup! He was afraid of him!
However, Commander Galloway met the Colonel head-on, in terms of verbal combat. She, at least, let Col. Jessup know right away, that SHE wasn't afraid of him!

Good movie, but I watched a Real Navy JAG Lawyer go over this movie and point out a lot of issues. 1) A Colonel on his way to being a General is not going to care about some Private reporting on a Corporal. There is no Internal Affairs in the Navy. Every one is internal affairs, as in every one is required to report inappropriate conduct. Conduct unbecoming is only for officers, who are expected to behave themselves. Enlisted personnel are usually 18-22 and are expected by the Military to do stupid things. Jessup's confession on the stand would be in admissible because the judge ordered Kaffee to stop questioning the Colonel and found him in contempt.

I was one year oled when this came out. I only saw this first time a year ago and i would watch it 70 times .

Tom is totally at ease and not threatened by Jack's phenomenal acting. He looks very calm and focused on what he wants to deliver for the audience. Would love to see Tom doing a role like this in future. Mind blowing acting acting by both.

The colonel was not wrong because he knows what a man requires to man up but it was the doctor who said Santiago is fit for training and has no health problems.
