ОтветитьBetter than nothing. Worth the 30 mins

Yes
How do you get a Universal Jar file? I'm only able to get the installer.
ОтветитьHow do I chose the right start file? On the java settings? Only thing that pops up is the forge installer. And on the server files I moved over has an start.psi file. Had to open that in PowerShell. What do I do about that?
Ответитьhow is the performance when you started adding mods?
few people on reddit have mentioned that unraid isnt the best for MC servers since linux doesnt play nice with some intel CPUs, and youd be better off using proxmox.
Yeah... This doesn't work on 1.20.1 - I installed Java 17 - which worked with the command you have - but changed to 17 from 7.. It tries to launch, then nothing.. The logs don't even get updated. Looks like I don't have the forge.universal.jar - I only have the "installer.jar"... hmm
ОтветитьDoes minecraft and plex work ok simultaneously on unraid? Does unraid give certain cores to each or can minecraft slow down plex's core? Etc..
ОтветитьThe disk 1 users servers folder does not exist when I try to CD it.
ОтветитьI can't for the likes of me, get even the basic server to work
The interface says it's running, webui says its running etc, but I cannot see the server from my machine on lan
Would it be possible to give some advice regarding setting up a forge 1.18.2 server from scratch. Ive basically been given a modpack list and told to go make a server. and Im a bit lost.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video, it saved my whole day
ОтветитьThank you for this! It was exactly what I needed!
ОтветитьThis just saved me so much headache. Thankyou!!!!
ОтветитьExcellent Video, one thing is that you CAN have multiple java versions coexisting but only one can be activated at a time. To do this, you simply do "sudo update-alternatives --config java", which shows something like this:
Selection Path Priority Status
------------------------------------------------------------
0 /usr/lib/jvm/java-17-openjdk-amd64/bin/java 1711 auto mode
* 1 /usr/lib/jvm/java-11-openjdk-amd64/bin/java 1111 manual mode
2 /usr/lib/jvm/java-17-openjdk-amd64/bin/java 1711 manual mode
3 /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64/jre/bin/java 1081 manual mode
Press <enter> to keep the current choice[*], or type selection number: 3
So all you need to do is to type the number corresponding to the java ver. you want to use at the time. No need to purge older versions. This has allowed me to switch between 1.12.2 and 1.19 servers in less than a minute
Um, what do I do if it shows the username and 1000?
ОтветитьPraise be! you gave me the missing pieces.
ОтветитьThe java repo is no good anymore.
