it's odd seeing the nose stay level when he turns
ОтветитьVery nice and informative video as always! VESC ON!!
ОтветитьBoard looks great man, how achievable is it for someone with no DIY experience to vesc their XR right now?
ОтветитьYou took this project to the next level and I commend you for it! Not only installing VESC and managing the software and moderate hardware side of things, but also putting together the hardware to form a not-onewheel from scratch.
ОтветитьNew standard for VESC building!! I look forward to a ride video where you do a review of the board feel and such. Great job!
ОтветитьLooks very good
ОтветитьVery nice, happy freewheeling!
ОтветитьSo its got more power and drive going uphill than your GT? Im new to OW and just got the Gt and it still struggles with my 215lbs lol.
ОтветитьDo you forsee these being built and sold in large volumes? Like most people I love OneWheels but hate Future Motion, I would love to try out a non-FM OneWheel! Especially since they've now raised the price of the GT twice in the UK!
ОтветитьLove it, I'm diving into this world very soon, got parts coming, hoping that next summer I can turn all my one wheels into vescs
ОтветитьSo cool! I've read some criticism of VESC Onewheels online, that in terms of reliability etc they aren't as safe as FM models (stuff like "with a VESC onewheel you will take a nosedive sooner or later." What are your thoughts on this?
Ответитьkeep em coming ✅️
ОтветитьI have worked with VESC in the past making DIY skateboards and scooters, so this is just the project for me. However, I am curious. What is the rough total cost once everything is accounted for?
ОтветитьLET'S GOOOOOO!!! <3
ОтветитьNice vid... what psi do u run
ОтветитьPowered up that hill like a beast!
That looks WHEELY good lol. 👍😎
The motor sounds very different from stock FM controller. I like it better.
Ответитьwhere do you get a VSEC?
ОтветитьHow's the battery life compared to a Onewheel? It would be nice if my GT didn't slow down so much when the battery gets to 35%. The acceleration really drops, but it'll eventually get up to speed. It's a champ going up hill until 45% when it takes it easier.
ОтветитьHey great to see the "Sloop" up and running!
ОтветитьI would love to see this with a Superflux motor:)
ОтветитьCongrats!
ОтветитьSick build man! Love the matte black look.
ОтветитьVesc is almost in the golden era. It's too good to be true.
ОтветитьLooks great. Nice work Mario.
ОтветитьAbout how much for this build ? ❤
ОтветитьIt looks great, well done! Very curious to know how it compares to a GT
Ответитьvery nice build and video. appreciate the work and resources. keep it up!
ОтветитьNice job on the wiring harness.
ОтветитьI’m two weeks late, but thanks for sharing. I look forward to more VESC content.
ОтветитьWhat's vesc mean?
ОтветитьLol except for the hub.. have you tried getting a 3rd party hub?
ОтветитьHave you managed to do any range tests? very nice build
ОтветитьReally wish there were more open source/DIY VESC and BMS designs, the original price for the Little FOCer was supposed to be around $90 but now they retail for $300 not including a heatsink. Add in a decent BMS like the XLITE for another $250 and at least $500 for a built battery plus all the connectors (assuming you have all the crimpers and other tools like a 20S capable charger/power supply) and you could just buy a brand new Onewheel instead.
ОтветитьVESC is my next adventure after I’m done modding my GT but I came to say that you’re the only other person I’ve seen that has that lighter too!
ОтветитьYou still riding one
Wheels?
Just had an idea watching this do you think it’d be possible to make a two wheel electric board with like a one wheel sized wheel in the front and the back all the components and stuff inside the board between them? Thought it was a neat idea
ОтветитьLooking forward to more content in this build
ОтветитьI bought a pint before I knew how shitty FM is. Thanks to people working on Vesc I'm not as paranoid about my onewheel being permanently bricked at some point
ОтветитьHow much is total cost to build one?
ОтветитьHi, can you help me please, I did add a buzzer to my VESC, also I did enable server output, it beeps but is really really quiet, not sure what is going on
ОтветитьWHHHEREEERERRREEE THE POOOOOOOOOOWWWWERRRRR!!
Ответитьwe need thes one
ОтветитьI am thinking about using the battery from Yoshino True Solid-State Portable Power Station to build a VESC board. How do you think?
ОтветитьWhat's the name of these bang bumpers? I've seen "SWAMP" colored ones, but they are more green with black swirls I think...These ones are more black with green swirls. What are they called? Anyone know?
ОтветитьWhere did u get those rails
Ответитьabsolutely love it when you back up to run over the leaf again
ОтветитьI really need this for my XR. But my question is, does this work with a 4213 XR?
ОтветитьSuper dope I want to do one myself
ОтветитьIs this still in use?
