When will you guys cover the great depression it's been a little while....
ОтветитьTldr: rich people ducked everyone else over.
ОтветитьI came here from Alastor from Hazbin hotel.
Ответитьthis should be a Saturday morning cartoon so KIDS know what they potentially face in the futures . very educational . USA best country on earth
ОтветитьSounds like crypto
ОтветитьReverse 1999 brought me here
ОтветитьYeah Uhh…Alastor brought me here lol
ОтветитьTrading in stocks is nothing more than fancy betting. As with betting (though the best answer to that is "don't do it!"), never use more money than you can afford to lose.
If your initial "toe in the water" is successful, sell enough to cover your original investment and then use your profit to truly start your "adventure."
Never consider that money to be "real"; i.e. don't take out loans, especially not for a mortgage or new business, based on what you have in stocks. Be prepared to lose every stock's full "value" (that's too dubious a description) overnight. If you can do this, you won't worry about what's going on, and you won't bankrupt yourself in the process.
Hoover would have been a good president during the twenties, but he got elected 8 years too late
ОтветитьI think my great grandfather was the day the market crashed
Ответитьi watched a documentary of milton friedman, he had a different view on the matter, now i dont know what to think lol, the documentary is called freedom to chose ep 3
ОтветитьIm here just because of Alastor 😭😭
ОтветитьAnd history will repeat in 2023
Ответить"The market and the risk assets in particular price for somewhat of a goldilocks, soft-landing type scenario, I do have about $300k amount of capital to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns
ОтветитьBad way to resume from a vacation, META down 40k, ALLP down 35k, Draft Kings down 6k, NIO down 15K, ABML down 8k, and my wife doesn’t know. I'm just hanging on to Jim Cramer's words about opportunities in volatile times so perhaps, I either wait for a recovery or pick profitable investments to substitute for my loss.
ОтветитьFACT - Central Banks are stockpiling physical gold , GLOBALLY !
We citizens should do the same ! A wise economist once stated - “ don’t do as bankers say , do as bankers do “ EVEN J P Morgan obtained physical GOLD AND PHYSICAL SILVER !!!
I have a feeling that Biden will be the new Hoover
ОтветитьSo the entire reason the great depression happened was because of constant lones, overly relying on the stocks, and just everyone started saying 'sell' instead of 'buy'.
ОтветитьEarl hovver the movies em
ОтветитьMexico Wins :)
ОтветитьPerhaps many people are not expecting there to be a crash because of the upcoming selection. Forgetting that market crash should be embraced, because every crash or collapse offers an equal market opportunity if you are well prepared and knowledgeable. I've seen people accumulate up to $800,000 during crises and even pull it off with ease in a bad economy. Without a doubt, the bubble or crash has made someone extremely wealthy.
ОтветитьMy opinion is when the market goes down then it's buying opportunity, If the market goes up then you are making money. If you stay invested and ignore the market's ups and downs, you'll make a lot of money in the long run; however, a severe market correction causes a lot of margin calls and sell-offs, driving the market even lower. Currently, I'm up 30% in my diversified portfolio. As crazy as it sounds some still make enormous returns from this seemingly unknown market, you have to be fearless when others are fearful.
ОтветитьStill no video om the great depression 3 years later
Ответитьhow much of the depression was caused by deflation...
ОтветитьI just love how capitalism works. Did the factories crumble? Did people people's homes burn down? Was there a famine? Did coal and iron run out? Nope. Materially, everyone was doing better, with no downside. There was no reason for anyone to lose their homes, their jobs, their access to food. Those thing were still there. The material reality hadn't changed. But the psychopaths on top saw that the imaginary numbers weren't right, and so took everything away from everyone.
ОтветитьAmericans in 1930s the only job is being a taxi driver But you might pick up and help some gangsters that will get you in the mob
ОтветитьAwesome video. You got yourself a new subscriber
ОтветитьNobody argues who knows "The History of Central Banking." I see you.
ОтветитьI'm only here because of my Alastor hyperfixation 😭 I've gotta know what he found so interesting about the stock market crash of 1929
ОтветитьAlso important to remember, the “we” who got through it wasn’t evenly distributed.
ОтветитьWe need an in-depth series on this.
ОтветитьIt is so utterly frustrating to think about how economics is portrayed as this all-powerful, self-directing force of nature like the weather or something, as if it wasn't created by humans and is being run by humans. The fact that the actions of a handful of people can cause disastrous and life-ruining circumstances for millions, even billions of people should be something that has everyone up in arms, yet we've just been taught that it's how things work.
ОтветитьI'm not kidding when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it Investing is a long-term game, so focus on the long run.
ОтветитьOnly people won was rich insider traders who pulled their money then bought up after the crash. Lol
ОтветитьSounds just like now. Government pumping money into it this time. But we got freezes when the stock drop less than 1%. It’s a manipulative thing they have been doing lately.
ОтветитьSounds similar to what we are doing now in the stock market. Since 2010 to now the stock market has increased over 3.5x and everything looks and feels just like this video.
ОтветитьMy grandpa was 2! His dad would go on to die 5 years later from a heart attack, leaving a wife and 7 kids. Wish I could have known Great Grammy Tina and ask her how the hell she did it.
Ответить.... Alastor no-
ОтветитьWell of course economists want to put the direct connection between the stock market crash of "29 and the great depression into question. Last thing their " sponsors" (IE the fat f**ks on wall street) want is them gambling with the livelihood of ordinary citizens being related to the destruction of the livelihood of ordinary citizens
ОтветитьThis is a great example of why you should take politicians' words for what little they are worth: because they can't control many elements of society, like Hoover couldn't then...but, they will still say they can and will in order to get your support, almost 100 years later...and that will always work with the masses until they are uncomfortable.
ОтветитьThis prompted the then British governed Indian parliament to finally wake up and create it's own central bank. A bill that had been rejected a decade before it, even though the Royal Commission that had advised the creation of said central bank had warned against this very unchecked buying on the margin practice the private banks were carrying on.
ОтветитьThis reminded me of GameStop
ОтветитьSounds like what’s happening to crypto, but on a much larger scale.
ОтветитьBoth of my grandmothers were born the month the stock market crashed. One did okay because her father was a preacher and, thus, she was reasonably well off. The other… both of her parents worked long hours at the Bemis Bag Factory, and she basically had to raise her two younger sisters.
Two women, born the same month, same state, different circumstances.
The Great Depression caused great mental depression in addition to being an economic depression.
ОтветитьI couldn’t understand anything
ОтветитьSeems that this is a repetitive pattern that occurs every few decades. The question is why nobody was held accountable for their disastrous and probably greedy actions and strategies? I can't believe it's a natural phenomenon that cannot be mitigated.
Ответить2029 gonna be even worse
Ответить
