The two pictures illustrate the Islip, the center of a small town as it is in the present, and its development design. It can be seen that the centre of town will be the construct of a ring road with contains some new buildings. Then, the reduction of the shops and the park.

Currently, the town centre has the main road that on both sides has shops. To the northern area is the countryside. Then, to the southern area are the housing beside shops and the housing at the end fork. The school is located to the corner southwest and the park is to the southeast.

In the future, the shops to the north side will be demolished to make way for the construction of a dual carriageway and some public facilities, such as the bus station, the shopping centre, the car park, and some new housing. The main road will reform into a pedestrian area. The shops to the south beside the main road will remain. The park will reduce its size, then will build new housing while the school will remain.
