Visiting my dad and he lives in the country of Ohio, took a bunch of photos of the night sky before having two coyotes walk up on me. Checked them out and I swore one of those stars looking like a galaxy so I went back out there today and sure enough with the help of a star finder app it was andromeda and got some awesome pictures. So cool I think I'll buy a telescope soon

When it comes to Space, it's safe to assume that all of that which we see in the night sky no longer exists. Since nothing is in real time, not even close

Finding Andromeda for the first time was no easy feat. Since I live under Bortle 8 skies, the night sky is mostly washed out with light pollution from downtown and surrounding urban environments. All I had was a pair of 25x70 binoculars and a planisphere for star hopping.

Once located, seeing it for the first time wasn't what I expected it to be. It was an extremely faint disc of light. However, the idea that my own eyes were looking at an entirely different galaxy outside of the Milky Way was the most exciting moment of my life, right after seeing Saturn's rings for the first time! Thank you so much for the informative video!

Where is Casiopio? Near the center of the Milky Way?

It’s very interesting . The galaxy has the same name as the constellation which it’s within . The music is nice , pretty relaxing. Loved it ..
