From a chemistry perspective crack is technically Cocaine Carbonate, the free-base is the oil. When it solidifies out of ammonia its because it gains carbon from oxygen, with Sodium Bicarb it gets the carbon directly from the co2 relased when the baking soda reacts with water.

Baking soda is added to cocaine, which through a chemical reaction turns the acidic powder into an alkaline solution. This is done because the vaporization occurs at a lower temp and the acidic form of cocaine ie. the powder, is not able to transfer into the bloodstream, whereas crack easily does.

In 2019 pretty much anytime I got drunk I'd go pick up crack, even more intense than normally sniffing coke and drinking. At one point I was smoking like 120$ worth of crack daily (which ain't even much in comparison to others but keep in mind I was getting small rocks for 5 bucks) mixed with 8-10 beers a day and 2 grams of phenibut daily....this was all towards the end of 2019 before I fully put the crack down and promised myself to never touch it again. It scared the shit out of me because I hated amphetamines, Caffeine, etc and cocaine was the only upper I truly cared for from time to time but I could take it or leave it, once I discovered crack and started mixing it with downers I just fell in love, I fell in love with the ritual of even hitting that fucking pipe. Haven't touched it since December of 2019 almost 3 years now and I don't plan on ever again. Watch out with crack, it's cheap as hell WAY cheaper than coke by miles and it's even more fiendish. This is coming from someone who basically despises stimulants and lived for downers like opioids for years.

As a former user I will say this, snorting is so much funner than smoking.

We have only in powder in eu. I only use intravenous, once I try to shoot it, I never went to snorting.

I have a brother who we recently found out is addicted to cocaine(possibly with fentanyl in) and we are trying to process it and understand.
He suffers from coke bug/ fentanyl bugs really bad.

Could you possibly explain what the reason he still wants to do the drug that makes him feel like he has bugs crawling on him,
it make him manic and he frantically tries to get them off, and we can not understand why he keeps going back to do it??
