for some reason in all my sims the CPU just refuses to sign 2nd round picks, which makes them pretty valueless. Also the Hawks are the best team every single yr and I always lose to team wihle teams that should be good like warriors and celtics ALWAYS just barely make playin

For the salary cap issue, have you tried using the rule changes menu to increase the salary cap after you max out in the settings?

Cant you just add more salary cap in the league meetings? So remove one and add 5-10-15 in salary?

Pop, how the heck do I fix the problem of auto generated rookies signing contracts of 25-50million per year? the salary cap in my league is off, is there anything I can do to fix this? I’m only in the second year but I’m worried teams are gonna start declining the rookie team options cuz they’re at like 25million and up

I personally love just turning down the inflation for contracts

Hey pop, it seems like the salary cao is increasing for me. But I found out by year 2031 there was 291 players with an 80+ overall compared to the 144 players in 2023. I think that probably has something to do with all the good free agents.

So I play on PC(current Gen) but this is a huge problem for me, especially when I get further into a myleague. I know I can just manually edit contracts and what not, but I feel like it takes away from the integrity. I don’t play the game with 99s and 7’6’s at every position, I like an immersive simulation. Makes me feel like a basketball coach while I’m bullshitting through class work.

I ve tried your beyond HOF sliders with dallas and wembanyama and it wasnt that hard with these 2 bad boys.
So i started again with Portland this time and difficulty is just on point 👌🏼i just raised dunks pen to put more poster on big men.
I wish they balanced Denver and sixers to be stronger and Hawks not to be that good... i simulate first season to have the 23 real draft and Atlanta winning playoffs or in finale almost every time...

Under rule change every season you can force accept an increase of the cap by $5m, $10m, or $15m

Thanks for these! Any ways to make scoring during sim a bit more realistic? Teams routinely scoring 130 pts and averaging 50%+/40%+ shooting splits per game
