Sadly, there are so many people in the world who would want this to happen as they buy into the overpopulation myth. Too bad that this movie didn't change their minds.

I love how Thanos is depicted as a master strategist in all scenes but this one, because he jjst assembled the most powerful weapon of the universe. Who's first instinct wouldn't be use against your opponent?

But it FAILS and he just stands there shocked, as the Titans of mythology were when the "younger and inferior" race of gods prevailed despite the former's unrivaled size and strength.

This moment will never be topped in Marvel.

Very considerate of Thanos to turn the decimated half into pretty, ashy powder instead of leaving a bunch of corpses everywhere.

The true fact is that if the person be erase from existence from reality or the universe, there souls and spirit inside them will also be erase which means they can't go to heaven, the afterlife or hell. They are completely erased without any presence being sense.

I just realized that this is basically the only time the infinity stones got shit stomped. Stormbreaker literally ignored the combined power of 6 stones and didnt even change course nor velocity.

I hated the way they did this. An entire movie portraying Thanos correctly, then Thor flies in and hits him with Stormbreaker, which is bs, and after that they screw up his character the rest of the time all the way through another film. This scene was the beginning of Marvel and Disney falling apart after all of the good things they'd done with the Avengers, GotG, and others. Everything they've made since, starting with End Game, has been much lower quality.

I saw this movie in the theater. I was stunned Thanos won. That night when I went home and went to sleep, I had a dream. I saw King of the Hill in my dreams. Hank and Peggy holding Bobby. Bobby said I don't feel so good. Bobby turned to dust. Peggy screamed. Cotton cried and went hysterical. Hank stood up and look at his family and said. I am going to kick that Thanos's ass I tell you what!! Saw hank leave the house with a E tool (small shovel) and get in his Truck. Hank drove away in his truck with an angry determined look. I woke up.

This was peak Marvel studios. End Game was good but I would have been quite happy to end it all here. Infinity War Thanos is one of the all time great film 'baddies', certainly up there with Vader. Ya gotta love The Thanos!

Still dumb. Dr. Strange had the time stone and could have put a stop to all of it. There was no way to have this ending and avoid a gaping plot hole.

Anyone think the directors, producers and writers read the comments? If so i want to pitch an idea for the next big bad supervillain. Imagine the next avengers movie they show this scene then they pull the camera back farther and farther until its past the solar system, then on the bottom left corner we start to see the outline of a man until the sun brightens him completely and we see hes SILVER and standing on a board talking to someone off screen. He speaks and says "ive got the coordinates my leige, the planet is called EARTH and i will leave at once and get the planet ready for you to consume" then he says "something is wrong, my lord. what IS this feeling"? He looks at his hand and 2 seconds later he begins to dust until hes completely gone. Then it FINALLY shows who he was talking to. Galactus then scouls and verbally growls through his teeth. He takes off headed in the direction of earth. EDIT: I think that they SHOULD have shown not only our heroes dusting but also villans, and side kicks.

Thanos getting the last stone is probably as satisfying as when iron man snaps him out of existence

My take: Thanos is a bit sadistic, and he only let Thor think he missed the killing blow. There's no way that Thanos with the power to snap the whole universe out of existence with a single thought, would be brought down by some relatively dinky axe. Even earlier in the movie, he does the same thing to Peter Quill. 😂

I would like to see a reality where he slaughters all avengers
