🌿 This tutorials go right to the point!, thanks a lot!
ОтветитьLove you for making it easy
Ответитьthe graphics are just completely wrong in this smh my head
Ответитьthis is the best video ever on this subject
ОтветитьTHIS VIDEO IS SO GOOD!!! THANK YOU
ОтветитьVery good explanation. Thank you!
ОтветитьWow! So well explained!! Thanks!
Ответитьquick and helpful!
ОтветитьGreat explanation
ОтветитьThank you for this simple explanation!
ОтветитьVery nice and helpful video. Thanks!
Ответитьthis is a lifesaver. thank you.
ОтветитьThat was super helpful, thanks
Ответитьsimple and great. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat Overview. Thank you!
ОтветитьA limiter doesn't do that actually. It compresses the audio above the threshold to that level. None of the signal is removed.
ОтветитьThank you for the explanation.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьThe graphs are backwards... they should be going down, not out to the left.
ОтветитьStraight to the point! YT needs more people like you. Thank you!
ОтветитьSo it's a soft version of a gate, like a compressor is a "soft" version of a limiter
Ответитьperfect. thank you.
ОтветитьThe gate and expansion graphs are wrong--they should go more vertical below the threshold, not more horizontal. Check the graphics on your plug-in or digital console dynamics processing.
ОтветитьI'm confused. How does the expander decrease the output if it looks like it increases it under the threshold in that graph...
ОтветитьFuck me, this was a pretty good explanation!
ОтветитьMuchas gracias. Muy buen video!
ОтветитьShort and to the point.Thank you!
Ответитьso awesome explanation!!
ОтветитьWow! Awesome. ThankYou! Am Subscribed now, adding this Vid to my Playlist & Sharing. LOVE Your Motto; TRAINING THE CALLED, EQUIPPING THE TRAINED"...Awesome. GOD Bless & ThankYou! Will Share Your Channel too. Cheers
ОтветитьIf my limiter was "cutting the signal above the threshold out completely", I'd be worried. :)
ОтветитьGreat video, just a thought though. Limiter is not the same as a gate but reversed. Difference is, gate cuts it out completely. Limiter is actually a compressor where the starting ratio is 10:1. So it does not completely cut it out like a gate but actually compresses it really hard.
ОтветитьGreat explanation
Ответитьupload the more videos
Ответитьnice1
ОтветитьSo basically an expander compressing frequencies under the threshold peaks granting more dynamic range aka EXPANDING the range between the peaks and the sunds under the threshold? So its not so much expanding as it is decreasing causing an expansion of range between highs and lows which ultimately comes off as expanding once make-up gain is applied? Thats what i seem to understand...i always thought it was making the peaks JUMP but in actuality its making the valleys of sound drop...even via compression. That would have been good to know 3 years ago lol. Such is the world of music...sad Im just learning this.
ОтветитьGreat Videos, in a easy to understand way.
Thanks!
Here is a quick and easy animation to help you learn how to use an expander. Check it out!
