Oh, I saw this app, and wondered about it. not make step-bt-step tutorials on it. How do you up load your own images, then make them high resolution seamless patterns for say wrapping paper. The measurement for some of those are HUGE! Thanks

Yo, Filter Forge 12, the GOAT of pattern creation is on sale for $23 right now! It's the home edition, but you get access to 15k filters which all have 30k per setting which leads to hundreds of thousands of variations to numbers like 10^50 when you add environments. I have Studio, it's on sale for $300 when it usually costs over $850.

Mey Arroyo showed one of these pattern makers, it was totally free, but I can't remember the name, now, but it is on her channel. I believe it is always free, but you can only download so many a day, or week, or something like that.

It reminds me of Adobe Capture...

I dont always use patterns but i was doing it in photoshop using that grid and offset thing. Even when you know how to do it its a major pain in the ass. This looks way more intuitive and it edits live. Honestly if you never made a pattern before but are thinking about it, this is probably worth getting even if you just make like one or two then dont ever again.

That's cool. Lucky for me I have a graphics program with a filter plug in that makes all kinds of seamless patterns. I have a lot of fun seeing what happens with any image when I apply the filters. :) Thanks for sharing. - Heidi P.S. that changing the area of the image thing was trippy! Mine doesn't do that but good thing as I would just watch it thus getting distracted. laughs
