What are those wood planks?
ОтветитьWhich glue have you used?
ОтветитьAi brought me here. I have the same Stall shoe cabinet that I waited for so long before IKEA Coq had it available again, peri-pandemic 2020 to July 2023. As soon as I got the notification that it was available, I snatched 2 right again. It IS really a space-saver. I am not using it for shoes, but I am using one as console in my tiny dining area and the another 1 in the entryway for knick knacks.
Ответитьis entryway even a phrase in English LOL never heard it anywhere I've lived
ОтветитьAmazing work!🎉
Ответить一个鞋柜说那么久!😮
ОтветитьThe answer to this Daniel and it is cheap and highly effective. Don’t invite anyone round.
ОтветитьThat intro was perfect, that relatability caught my attention for the rest of the video.
Ответитьhad the same problem, found the shelf extremely ugly. If you're creative, you can apparently get a lot out of it
ОтветитьI believe the The IKEA Stall Panels are 16.5 x 16.5, however the rodeby wood paneling is 25 x 14.5 -- The length fits, but the width is short by about 2 inches based on what i read. Did you end up cutting short pieces of the Rodeby wood to fill in the space? Thanks, any guidance is appreciated!
ОтветитьI actually purchased the RODEBY armrest to test this out as I have the same shoerack mounted in my entrance hall and I have NO IDEA how you got them to cover the door side by side without either a noticeable gap or severe overhang. The width of each piece doesn't marry up to the width of the cabinet fronts
Ответитьbro i gots that same shirt yous got no way hose
ОтветитьPeep that Milwaukee M18 FUEL
ОтветитьSimple, not expensive and truly transformed the space. Always such great tips, thank you Daniel!
ОтветитьFirst time here. I really enjoyed the style and content of the video. Well done. I’ll be back.
ОтветитьSehr schön gemacht.
ОтветитьThat's what responsible man have in mind most of the time, "how can we zero out or minimize mess at home?" 🤭🫰
Ответитьhow is it a hack? It's furniture you can just buy XD
ОтветитьThe heavy ceramic vases are not good idea to place on the light weight furnishings like here, being an interior designer I never suggest aesthetic design comes over the functionality, although I appreciate your creative efforts and love your entryway.
ОтветитьMy hallway is also slim so thanks for the tip
ОтветитьDo you have a version of this for rental apartments (no drilling)?
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the shoe shelf ?
ОтветитьSuper job done, Daniel. G Ire
ОтветитьWonderful and beautiful
ОтветитьLove it
ОтветитьWhere is that mirror from? The link in description isn't working.
ОтветитьNebula. Seems easy! Will check it out. Nice work too by the way 👌
ОтветитьLoved the editing! Loved the personalised piece too!
ОтветитьWhy did you put it there instead of on the left hand side when people walk in with more hooks above it?
ОтветитьI’m quite addicted to this channel! Good information, pleasant voice, appealing movie and pleasing video.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThank you for sharing.
Love, blessings to you and yours good man!
Why did,t you -it the shoe unit on the slightly recessed area ?
ОтветитьYou put a link for where your shoe is from, but what about the T-shirt? Haha
ОтветитьNot hack. It’s just a cupboard
ОтветитьDaniel is very chic
ОтветитьI have a small entryway like this in my home. I was getting by with a small table, that is actually a table with a magazine rack underneath, that I placed a stiff piece of cardboard over so my sneakers could sit on the shelf-like space made by the cardboard. It also allows me to place my folded up cane next to my sneakers. I am legally blind, but do retain some light perception tho even that is complicated. I have a combination of problems created by an optic nerve defect that I was born with & a retinal disease that became more pronounced to the point it couldn’t be hidden anymore about 30+yrs ago when I had to stop driving. Over the years, it got to where I couldn’t see anything but shades, shapes, & colors beyond a few inches from my eyes; peripheral vision loss was also an issue. In my home, I tend to do well bc everyone knows not to move anything without telling me first. Problems began to worsen after my birth mother & her youngest daughter came to stay a bit after their home burned down (it’s really becoming a problem since there doesn’t seem to be any thought to finding their own place. My niece & aunt, birth mother’s sister was the woman I thought of as Mom. She passed away some 20-23yrs ago. Birth mother’s daughter calls my husband & me, aunt & uncle) Shoes have been thrown down in my already small entryway & it’s getting to the point I’m tripping over them. Screaming into pillows is getting old, not to mention the fact that I have multiple autoimmune diseases & brittle bones, so falling is the last thing I need in my life, followed nearby with stress.
I can’t put my own shoes on without sitting down first. Unlike my husband, I can’t slip my sneakers on or off. I’d like to find a place for their shoes that would be better; hwr, I just don’t have the space. They’ve taken over my living room & I don’t allow outside shoes beyond the entryway. It’s difficult enough to keep light colored carpet clean. And I know, I don’t like carpet either but with hubby & I both on disability, there’s not enough left for plank laminate floors.
The entryway closet was turned into a pantry bc I needed room plus shelves to better centralize pantry food items. It’s not available for the many shoes that keep ending up in my entryway area, esp my niece’s bc she can’t seem to stop buying the damn things. I have 1 pair of shoes for outdoors, with the exception of a pair of crocs I wear when I need to pop outside when taking our geriatric dog out on potty breaks. The Crocs fit neatly under the table with magazine rack; hubby’s sneakers go on the outer door side of the table & daughter’s on the other. Our youngest still is at home & she helps us as much as possible, including reading the mail to me, as it’s faster & easier than trying to do the same thing with special software. And, she helps with other things too.
Ideas appreciated. I’d like to find a place for dog leashes but can’t find one I like.
Any ideas?
Where do you get the wooden strip from to place on the cupboard please?
ОтветитьLove the Rodeby hack, really removes that neutral look from the shoe cabinet :)
ОтветитьWhere did you get the black bins that you put inside the cabinets?
ОтветитьIn a small apartment where do you have space to keep all the power tools?
ОтветитьI thought I was done with IKEA, but you have single handedly made me seriously consider it for our next home
ОтветитьReally nice and simple, feeling inspired!
ОтветитьCan you make a video about TINY entryways/hallways as well?
My entryway for example is my hallway (2 meters by 2 meters), doors on all four walls, no real usable space for wardrobes or anything wallmounted
That IKEA shoe storage is the bomb...plus you can use hacks to upgrade it
ОтветитьFirst, thanks for the great video and inspiration. I have a question about the bamboo armrest you used to cover the front of each drawer. As per the measurements on the Ikea website, one will fit horizontally on each drawer. I just need to remove a few slats to make them fit. Are the slats long enough to fit vertically?
ОтветитьBrilliant to have it floating! You can easily mop under it.
ОтветитьI was toying with this product for my narrow hallway. I see it could really work. Thanks! And, great customization 😉
