I need some assistance. I have cable box and a Roku, should both connect through the receiver first. But, when we want to just watch news or a TV show without going through all of our speakers how would we make this connection? We’d just like to use the TV’s speakers for news programs and regular TV shows. And is it possible to set up the receiver so that when we turn on the Roku box it “triggers” the receiver to come on automatically? Our receiver is a Marantz SR5010. Thx
Ответитьwhen running power cables make sure they are warm as they are more flexible. I use a hot water bottle in a big plastic box
Ответитьbuilding it on it back i think is not great idea as to many things can go wrong when you are lifting it up. also you are putting a huge amout of pressure on the two wheels. you are so much safer to mount the devices when the rack is up right starting from the bottom and working up.
ОтветитьI love Crutchfield
ОтветитьHow to use remote if all equipment are at different place? Please suggest.
ОтветитьThat rack is beautiful, no way would I hide it in a closet.
Great Job!
I have a mid 80's Denon that's like 50+ lbs, is there support at the back for the shelves.
I'm trying to learn this type of stuff make a video for noobs
ОтветитьQuick question. I’m getting into av racks for the first time. For the shelves, I see you screw in the front screws to the mounting hardware, however it looks like some of the shelves are just hanging in thin air 😅? Wouldn’t that be a huge amount of torque pulling downward? Or am I missing that you attached something to support the rear of the amps as well?
ОтветитьWowsers 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊
ОтветитьI love the rack you use... I am going to look into it. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you Sir!! For such a awesome detailed video! I just purchased my first rack and was having a difficult time finding any good videos on home audio installs untill yours.
Thank you again for all thr helpful information!!
Does the location of the power bars make any difference?
ОтветитьWhat model is this one?
ОтветитьMay i know if u have receiver then why need to add three amplifier? What the function to use amplifier?
ОтветитьDo you recommend 2U vent plantes between amplifiers or is 1U vented plates enough? I plan to put AC Infinity fans above each at some point? My Amps are Class D
ОтветитьSplendid demo and info thanks 👍🏼✊🏼. UK
ОтветитьNice looking rack situation. Are the rack ears on the Rotels the only thing holding the amps in the rack? I saw the shelves being removed but did not see them holding the amps. I’m planning on getting the larger Rotel amp, but at 75 pounds it makes me wonder if the ears alone can hold it.
ОтветитьNice informative video. Do you mind adding a link to the fans you used up top? Thanks
ОтветитьSaludos desdes de mexico mui buenos videos
ОтветитьMy manz should have went with XLR
ОтветитьGood day. Can u please assist me. I hooked up a line out converter to my stock radio. I have a monoblock amplifier and hooked up the wires to my stock front speaker wires. Because i have a monoblock amplifier, must i put the 2 positief wires together and the 2 negative wires together on one front speaker? Or must i use both front speakers to hook up the line out converter? I hope u understand. I have a monoblock amp with 1 set of subwoofer speaker wire
ОтветитьNew follower with tons of questions. 2013 Jeep Wrangler 4 door. Which size sub woofer should I be looking for. Only going with one sub. Thinking of a down firing box since I usually have no doors and no top. Thoughts? Ported or sealed? If ported should the port also be firing downwards? Also, Jeep has the two front speakers, two on the above sound bar like any other Wrangler and two speaker pods on the rear (c pillar) roll cage. All are 6.5” and thinking of making two of those into 6.5” woofers. Should I put those in the B or C pillar? B is a long bar so lots of more air and C are single pods. Which shallow 6.5 are recommended? Not looking for loud 2-Ohm. Looking for a deeper lower 4-Ohm… brings me to amps. Option 1. Two amps, one for the four coaxial, and the other for the two woofers and one sub? Option 2, one for six (four coaxial, two woofers) speakers and one 1 ch for the larger sub? Wires, which gauge for, speakers, woofers, sub, power etc is recommended? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
ОтветитьHi Mark, I noticed that the MR 5100 has 4 high current outlets which you more than likely plugged the three amplifiers in, my question is if I have the M5400-PM which only has two high current outlets how would I go about connecting the same three amplifiers to the unit?
ОтветитьNice!!👌🏻 You've inspired me, so I'm now off to Google 'large racks'...!!😆
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьWould it be difficult to make a video showing all of the wiring step by step? Like how you ran the speaker wires from beginning to end.. or do you already have a video showing that?
ОтветитьYou should go get your AVIXA CTS-I and make it official! 😁
ОтветитьSaludos desde mexico
ОтветитьI bought the exact same rack earlier this year. It was perfect for me too! Really like Middle Atlantic racks as well.
ОтветитьOne day I will consider making the switch to home audio. That's a whole different bracket of coin required to jump into that field. I've enjoyed my dad's coming up.
ОтветитьSick rack
ОтветитьNice I’m also running Marantz and Rotel, and a UB820. No rack yet. I like tech, so home theatre in next house will have a rack built into the back wall with a tinted window so you can just about make out the lights.
ОтветитьGreat video Mark, look foward to the completed build
ОтветитьDid u know they make rack mounting ears for the Marantz as well?
ОтветитьClean Mark. Wicked clean. Nab you a record player, for fun. Ive gotten back into vinyl lately, and have loved it. I love spending a day, browsing record shops.... and also love the music production/sound of a good record.
Well done as always my guy. You will enjoy that set up for a long long long time.
Rack & crutch 😬
ОтветитьI’m surprised you didn’t get hooked up with some nice audio control amps! They make some sweet sweet HT devices.
ОтветитьClean, I love it
ОтветитьI built my own wooden rack and this prefab one is making me considering replacing it. Super nice layout!
ОтветитьLooks great!!
ОтветитьDo you plan to sound proof your rack case?
ОтветитьNice work Mark. I have yet to max the volume on my receivers with no extra amps without getting yelled at by the wife.
ОтветитьSweet.
ОтветитьAlways love watching your vids. Great inspiration. Thanks again!
