Super good video Cam. This def reassures me of the concerns I had with the 3.0T. Going to upgrade my 8V to a C7 today
ОтветитьHey I was looking at a 2013 A6 3.0t tsfi with 133,000 today, as the seller turned the car on and started reversing, I seen light white smoke was coming out the exhaust, opened the hood and the coolant was leaking, should I go for it, or what do I tell the seller to fix before I get it or should I even get it
ОтветитьLove this video man I’ve been looking for a nice Audi for almost a year but kind of tough finding the right one in America
ОтветитьGreat video with great content! If you’re not aware however, there’s underlying clipping in your audio. Might want to look in the compression settings or format before you upload.
ОтветитьFinally!!!!! I purchased a B7 SLine 2.0T(2008) probably 10 years ago and could not find a lot of options,,,,,,, cosmic wise for my SLine😑,,, but she was good to me for the entire 10 strong 💪🏽✊🏽...... My fault why she died. I thought I was upgrading her by tuning her up... upgraded to stage 2+ from 1+ko4.,,,☠️✌🏽🙏🏽bad injector 😔😑😟☹️😢😖.... Sorry bout that.. Happy to have SLine options on my Fabolous C7 3.0T Prestige.Been really easy. Great f&ing video's,my car looks just like your car..I just don't have the fancy night vision and all the extra stuff you've..
ОтветитьI.P.A 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
ОтветитьDo you recommend the Motul/Rowwe type of oil for 4 cyl C7's? Same for oil filters? Or can you use the Fram and Mobil 1's for the C7 4 cyl cars?
ОтветитьSurprised there is no mention of crank pulley failure. Is this not as common as I think?
ОтветитьAwsome video brother. I have 2012 A7 3.0T. When i turn the steering wheel all the way to the left side, the car makes a little scratching sound. What could that be caused by?
ОтветитьJust got a 2016 A7(.5 lol) Prestige. Very familiar with VW, but not as much Audi. Been loving it so far. Thanks for the super helpful info!
ОтветитьLooking at getting a 2016 or 2017 A6 C7.5 for my daughter. I've been a 9-year BMW owner so far, 2011 335xi with 230k miles on which I do all my own maint. This video is very comprehensive and I am now feeling I can work on this kind of car with no problem. Is there a Bentley or equivalent service manual you would recommend with torque specs/procedures?
Ответитьwhat if we just install a catch can/ pcv delete?
ОтветитьI just bought a 2012 C7 with 88k on it and after watching this, I am not going to lie, I AM SCARED AF LOL. I don’t want to deal with all this maintenance and I am realizing that a pre-purchase inspection doesn’t cover even 10 percent of all the potential issues that was covered in this video. Then to top it off, the CarFax has no service records. Think I really f’d up here big time!
ОтветитьSo i just got a injen cold air intake , do I need to use my stock heat shield? Or can I use it without it?
ОтветитьHI! I just bought a 14 C7 2.0 T Quattro. I was wondering if you could add tips and advice for those engines as well!
Thanks!
carmax had a decent S8 a couple months ago and we were back in to do something else - one of sales reps said a guy took it for a "7 day test drive" shredded the tires and destroyed the car - really wish I knew who it was
Ответитьhave a question about lowering springs for a 14 A6 3.0 quattro? I'm thinking about getting 1
ОтветитьThank you for this awesome channel. New (used) 2015 A6 3.0 owner here (C7). I appreciate you!
ОтветитьJust found your channel, im subscribed! Also, just grabbed a 14' a6 3.0t.. definitely going to build it, like your advice so far
ОтветитьHow reliable are these cars. I've had my Volvo s60 2.5t for 8yrs now and never any problems. It's time for me to upgrade. So I'm getting a 16 audi a6 3.0t. I'm gonna put apr stage 2plus tune, awe intake, exhaust, heat exchanger, intercooler and then Ashanti rims. Hoping this car will last along time. Great Channel. It's so informative. Keep up the great work
ОтветитьHey man quick question, 15 A6 3.0T prestige now @ 136k no lights ever but now I’m getting low engine oil about every week to 2weeks after my big service
Ответитьwhat does “gutted cats” mean? what would i have the muffler shop do exactly
ОтветитьIs it worth doing a video on just 4.0TT cars? Is there really more to cover on those than what you already covered in this one? I feel there's a large lack in 4.0 videos esp for diy guys.
ОтветитьI Was seriously contemplating the purchase of an 2018, A7 Sport back. This video has scared me off that. Way too many expensive issues for me as I don’t know how to fix cars. Thanks for the heads up.
ОтветитьJust got a 2013 A8 3.0T love it and thanks for all the info on the motor
ОтветитьGreat overview thanks!
ОтветитьLooking at getting a 2014 A7. Would like a facelift but it's a bit more than I want to spend. So the timing chain issue was resolved by 2014 or should I try for a 2016? There is a 124k mile (a but high?) 2016 available in my price range. Hmmmm
ОтветитьGreat video. My A6 2.0 had a timing chain tensioner failure at 98k miles. Im curious now at 165k if i should be looking for v6 for a swap eventually
ОтветитьWatching this is seriously putting me off from doing this whole getting an Audi thing… 😢 think they might just be too expensive in the long run.
ОтветитьLooking to buy a 2012 Audi A6 3.0 . 88k miles what should I look out for? Any tips for maintenance I should do right away?
ОтветитьHey man, great video!
I have a 2013 Audi A7 prestige, I'm trying to get a diffuser for it. I thought S line was only models like "S7" or "RS7". Does mine being a prestige model be considered an S line? I just want to be sure in getting the right diffuser for my model if that's the case
how about 2.0 tdi engine is it a good one?
ОтветитьHey man, i just picked up a clean 2016 A6 3.0t. The car has 75k miles, should I consider keeping an extended warranty? It’s an extra $3500
ОтветитьJust wanted to leave my nugget of information that I believe is very important for those of you that may go to harbor freight to get the sandblasting unit to clean your intake valves. I purchased the red 110 lbs pressurized media blaster unit. I realized that there was metal media that must have been used to test the unit at the factory. It was really difficult to take it out of the canister even after multiple runs with water to rinse it out. After figuring out that there was still media inside, I decided I didn't feel safe to use it in my engine and ended up using the zip tie method. I checked other units of the same kind and they all had the metal media inside.
Be careful guys!
When it comes to downpipes. I know it varies state to state, but in more restrictive states like where I am, in Massachusetts, are people getting away with emissions and getting inspections stickers? Ive heard there are way to get it done, but I've never seen it.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing wealth of information!
ОтветитьJust picked up a C7.5 A7 today 🙏 0 Regrets 🤝🏽
Ответитьive been nonstop watching your videos for a few days and truly appreciate what youre doing. Ive got a question regarding my timing chain on my c7 3.0t a6, its been rattling on start up every now and then only for about half a second, do you know if its something to worry about?
ОтветитьLooking to buy a used 2015 A6 3.0 with 129,000 on it for $12,390. Is it worth buying at this price? One owner
ОтветитьThank you for this video as I’m not a wrencher I know couple buddies that gon help me and give me advices owned my first a6 c7 3.0 and really nice ride ! Hope for the best of this car
ОтветитьWhat diffuser is that?
ОтветитьBeautiful work love love love it. Thanks for your work. We all learn
ОтветитьShould I be worried about the trans? Especially the early 11’ to 13’s I’ve heard the mechatronic 7spds go bad often
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьWhat model and make of motor mount is going to fit the same car but with 2.0 liter diesel engine? If I understand correctly, it would be something made by Lemforder. Does anyone have a part number, or a link to the set?
ОтветитьWow. Thanks for providing such an in-depth look into the ownership and maintenance of these C7’s.
I am considering a 2013 a7 3.0T with 90,000 miles. The car is on its second owner who has already replaced the valve cover gaskets, PCV, timing seal, brake booster, water pump, and recently changed the trans and diff fluids. Oil changes every 5,000 with LiquiMoly.
A few things I hadn’t considered needing eventual replacement that you noted were timing chains themselves (not just the tensioner), control arms, motor mounts, and cats…
Such a beautiful machine, but man… I’m not sure I can stomach the maintenance without the DIY wherewithal (and probably neither can the current owner lol).
is the 2012 a6 s line prestige unreliable? got 160k kms on it. thinkint of buying it tomorrow
ОтветитьA6 is the sexiest, sleekest sedan ever made, non-believers come at me bro! 🫤🫤🫤
