Score 30 out of 30 on TOEFL Listening: Practice Test with Answers

I got 98 in TOEFL iBT 4 years ago. I am taking the test this Saturday again. Hope to achieve something similar. Thank you for your lessons, they are really handy and useful.

I don’t know if it is me or not but I think there is a detail people forget to mention about the actual TOEFL test.
You don’t have that much time to check the answers from the notes you took. I think the point of the whole listening section is for you to remember the content of the lecture or the conversation.
As far as I can remember, you’re given like 5 minutes to respond to more than 10 questions. If you spend a few seconds checking your notes, it’s likely that you’ll run out of time before you answer all of the questions.
I practiced at lot using an official TOEFL preparation book and a CD that accompanies it.
Drawing from my experience I can say the way the listening section is designed in the actual test (or at least the time you are given for answering) is very different from what you have got from the official preparation Book.

hey Tshirt, some people have told me these examples are too easy compared to the actual test. Is that so?
They also say the speed of the conversations is clearly enhanced as they keep coming, and that the accents are way harder to understand. Please let me know if they're just trying to scare us.

I think the hardest thing about taking this test is that you have to read each sentence and answer option, choose the answer, and listen to the audio all together. Also, you may listen to the audio only once or twice. I think this test is about attention, not listening.
