can you not give the co ords for where u found the lush cave? same as in the house build vid, u dont give it. ive been trying to follow this series to learn but at point of giving up as wasted hours trying to find it, not fun as a beginner
Ответитьtheres a cave on the top of the mountain with 5 - 10 blocks of emerald ore
ОтветитьI play along in the same world, omg the Holy Mountain is truly amazing 😍
ОтветитьI don't think Mojang gets enough praise for how well they did the Caves and Cliffs update. Sure, it's not littered with a ton of, arguably useless, features you'd see in some tacky mod but what they did do was amazing. The update came out 2 years ago and I'm still constantly stopping in awe of different mountains, hills, cave openings, and otherworldly world generation.
ОтветитьWow that's a beautiful cave.
ОтветитьEnjoying this series. Learning lots since being on and off Minecraft for a good 18 years
ОтветитьYou really have found the perfect seed 😄
Ответить"If you have found a large enough vein of calcite then mountain will barely notice its gone"

I recently got back after three-four years of not playing minecraft and this guide is so much helpful regarding all the recent updates and he only talks about the practicality of some build, mechanics which is the reason why I watch him.. I learned so much well rather than searching each specific/minute details about things on the internet.
Ancient Cities very often generate under mountain biomes!
ОтветитьIs that upped brightness a thing you're doing in post? Even at max brightness my game doesn't have visibility that good in unlit caves.
ОтветитьI almost had to stop watching when he passed by a mine cart chest and kept on exploring
Ответитьhonestly, the reason I haven't set up shop in a cherry grove yet is that there's so often Deep Dark under them. Sculk creeps me out way too much.
Ответитьwould like to see some gameplay footage with shaders
ОтветитьA bit late, but lush caves, at least for me, i see a lot of them in spruce biomes. Not sure if it is a bedrock thing
ОтветитьOnce again tall birch 😂 spotted in pix video
ОтветитьYea. Watch just to see differences to bedrock. I don't think bedrock can stop the glowberry vine growth 😂
ОтветитьInterestingly enough I also have an ancient city beneath my base area in my modded world, a valley inside a crescent shaped mountain range 😎 no abandoned mineshaft in between though, or dripstone cave, but there is this modded structure that's something like a village bunker, giving me a secure location for working with villagers 🤓
ОтветитьHey Pixl, Wow that drip stone cave is insane, I have been playing along the same seed and have never noticed that cave... I think I should explore more... Thank Pixl and see in the next eps, Cheers
ОтветитьI never realised that about the small dripleaf being harder to get!
ОтветитьYou have a nice seed for your world there. Am I wrong in saying that the latest world generation has a lot more subterranean water? I can't seem to reach -59 without a few underground oceans making it harder?
ОтветитьWait til he finds 2 ancient cities under his house
ОтветитьWandering traders will occasionally offer small dripleaf for sale. The sure sign for the presence of a lush cave below is an azalea tree on the surface. They can be easy to miss in a forest but they are clearly visible in a desert or on a beach. Rooted dirt and hanging root blocks can also be found below azalea trees. Hanging roots can be farmed with bone meal on the underside of rooted dirt. Watch out for goats on the mountain peaks! If you stand around too long near them, they can send you sailing into space with a strong head butt. On the other hand, if you can get a horned goat to crash into a solid block, they may drop a horn, which can be used to make audible horn calls. Be careful about jumping down onto powdered snow. Even while wearing leather boots, it is possible sink into powdered snow blocks, and if there is a chasm beneath them, you could get a rather nasty surprise. If you are using the Java version of Minecraft, the ChunkBase web application can be used to preview world seed biomes to find whatever you want, including worlds with cherry groves near the spawn point. Dripstone can be used to fill cauldrons with lava or water, which can be used for an aesthetically pleasing feature in potion labs and simulated kitchens, and for farming lava as a furnace fuel source. This episode wonderfully touches on a lot of different features, which Pixlriffs will no doubt expand upon in future episodes. Looking forward to it all, Pix! Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьMan! I wish they would add volcanic islands and volcanos. Like it would be called the inferno update.❤
ОтветитьWith the new 1.20.2 villager changes, how do you think they'll handle Villagers already present in the world? I've got ebery high-end enchantment from my librarians, and it took a long time to get. I don't want all that progress erased just cause I've updated.
I've asked this on the Spawn Chunks, but I really want an answer so I'm asking it here, too.
Every emerald ore I collect is always in honor of you 😂
ОтветитьTook you long enough to find the deep dark city. I discovered that weeks ago while making a staircase down to my diamond mine. I summoned the warden on a accident. Ya long story short I had to move my mine.
Ответитьcan't wait for the ancient city episode!
ОтветитьWhen a stalagmite and stalactites frm together it is called a column
ОтветитьNot gonna lie. When he said you might be familiar with calcite from geodes I legit thought he was going to talk about when Joel stole the calcite from his mountain way back on empires
ОтветитьThe 'left' side of the cherry mountain has a better string farm: a small cave with dungeon in it. You have to see it to believe it. Right outside your front door are some of the best spawners for the best farms. Bones, string and even zombies within walking distance! Amazing map seed.
On the plus side, a lot of the floating mineshaft are slime chunks if you want to setup a classic pre-MumboJumbo-Swamp slime farm. Although the later is going to be much less work and much much higher output in 1.20.
Finally, if you visit your desert village where the camels were, the deeper you go the more lush caves you'll find. The whole of the desert is shot through with amazing finds and strange terrain generation.
at least im aware hes not doing this series long term like season 2 and hardcore
ОтветитьReading the Minecraft Wiki does note that because lush caves, dripstone caves and the deep dark generate based on the same information as the biomes, there is some correlation between surface biomes and cave biomes.
(Basically Minecraft generates five 2-D patterns when creating the world, that look like the kinds of things you get when you ask Photoshop to generate a random cloud pattern. That means each X, Z location has 5 parameters associated with it: Temperature, Humidity (aka Vegetation), Continentalness, Weirdness, and Erosion. Lush caves generate at certain depths when the Humidity is high, which means they are not found under Plains and Savannah (for example), and are most likely found under Taiga, Dark Forests, and Jungles[1]. Dripstone caves need high Continentalness, hence they are rarely found in the ocean[2]. The Deep Dark needs low Erosion, so 'Mountain' is a good sign. )
[1] Strangely enough, deserts generate even when Humidity is high if the temperature is high enough. Hence occasionally seeing lone azalea trees in the desert marking that there's a lush cave below.
[2] Continentalness raises the height of the average terrain, but that could just mean high 'normal' biomes rather than mountains.
This world seed is actually amazing!
ОтветитьOkay Mojang volcano biom for the surface and possibly volcanic islands
ОтветитьThere was one world I had where when I hit an edermen, they teleported away and I never saw them again, and they creeped me out. I lost that world to an endermen and I'm now very on edge with endermen now.
ОтветитьSince spore blossoms come in a limited quantity, are hard to get to, and they can't be bonemealed, I was hesitant to try to break it with only my hand and used shears instead. Thanks for showing me you can use your hand!
ОтветитьFound a lush cave below an ocean, tried digging up, gave up😂
ОтветитьLove listening to your videos while I manscape or wash the dishes. Cheers!
ОтветитьCan you make cave videos a little brighter? i can’t make out what’s going on.
ОтветитьAlso lush caves??😘🤌🏻
Ответить🙌🏻THIS✨
ОтветитьCongrats on finding your first emerald ore in this world! Now onto deepslate emerald ore
ОтветитьI believe to farm lava you need to have a block of dripstone under the lava source, and then the pointed dripstone!
ОтветитьDocm77: Don't touch my redstone
Pixlriffs: Don't touch my Emerald ore
I have been playing minecragt for years but this series still teaches me things I didn't know
ОтветитьI would love to watch the breeding of the blue axolotl! I love this series so much! Even thought I have been playing minecraft for a number of years I still learn from these videos so thank you for the Survival Guide!!
