These are still 220 dollars for just 1tb i got my 8tb hdd for half that definitely not worth it unless prices drop. Personally was not impressed with the load times to convince me for just 1tb.

Storage is not memory. Memory runs programs and those peices of hardware store the programs to be ran in memory.

I like the little 512 GB version that we got for our Series S the other day, but was disappointed that it had to be plugged in three times before the unit decided that it was available to use. I guess microsoft has gone from "Plug & Play" to "Plug & Plug & Plug & Play" in the past 12 years since I got my last PC.

The 2 Tb Seagate Expansion Card is so worth it. Load time was faster for me then mentioned in the video for Cyberpunk 2077 game. The amount of space I have left is great so I could keep adding a vast collection of games I can play week to week instead of COD. Lastly, hopefully it’s transferable for the next gen console 👀🙏

I can get a 4TB external hard drive for 110 bucks but a WD SSD is almost double the amount for 1TB definitely getting the external hard drive

I only really play 1 game 99% of the time (The Division 2) & I’ll keep 3 or 4 other games my son & others play on an external usb device.

I have a Series S with the 2TB Seagate Game Drive. The complaint about the 20+ minutes data transfer does not really matter, you can still play other games in the meantime, not like last gen, where you had to sit and wait.
I use my HDD just for One/360 games, or for games that I don't play that often. The ingame loading time is the only thing that bothers me to play games direct from the HDD.

I'm getting sick of tired of electronics company doing this. If you say you're giving us a certain amount of gigabytes then give it to us you said storage not operating system. We need a class action lawsuit on each one of these companies who's with me?

Xbox One X + External SSD is what we all needed.
