I'm glad Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has finally realised that Muslim killing Muslim is not a Jahad. Most of us knew this since childhood. When the Afghan Taliban were fighting against the Northern Alliance,the Maulana and his followers were calling that conflict a Jahad.And so was the government of the day.The Taliban were being helped through money ,materials and weapons.And manpower. Can,and will the Maulana now declare that the conflict against Ahmad Shah Masood was NOT a Jahad? If not,his speech would be seen only as political posturing, an attempt at saving his own hide and an attempted power grab of the Haqqania Madrassa.
