Can you please do something on how to write a good cover letter/resume after returning from a bereavement career break. I used to get heaps of call backs but ever since taking 5 months off, I hardly receive any calls. I’m assuming it’s the gap in my resume or employers questioning my ability to work after experiencing such a significant event. I’m 22 years old and it was my brother that passed away. I’m determined and ready to work again but I don’t know how to reassure potential employers of this. Any help would be so so appreciated! My specialty is customer service :)

As a 49 year old job hopper; I find your videos amazingly valuable to land that next shitty position. Con them to hire you then walk out once they start using you like a slave and on to the next round. They usually offer a raise to get you to come back to their toxic misery.

Hello, You pointed out good points to be covered in the cover letter. In my Corporate career, i have taken lots of interviews of candidates belonging to Compliance and Risk Management. The reason we selected the candidates for interviews was their resumes and the cover letter. First of all an interviewer reads the cover letter and then the resume. One of the big mistakes candidates do is that their Cover Letters and Resumes are not aligned and this is considered as a big mistake by the interviewer. In resumes they mention different skills and in a cover letter, that creates confusion.
