Alexander is strong enough to wipe out viktor's kingdom by himself single handedly, Marcus and William are his children, notice for the fact that as long as they were still alive only locked up or eternal sleep, Alexander didn't lift a finger because he saw Viktor as a mere necessity that kept his sons contained for a while, all he did over many centuries was keep the vampire and lycan war under wraps from humans to prevent the world of knowing of his sons, killing them was not an option.

In the end even though Selene killed Marcus by using Corvinus blood it still doesn't change the fact that Marcus was right all along about the bond between the brothers. He was able to control William perfectly as William recognized him at first glance.

I would have loved to see Alexander's face if he had been present there.

A true father honest to God will never harm his children but show remorse and love for his children. Some are just not meant to be parents because of very serious personal problems even mental problems. But a truer father will love a child unconditionally because God made them to love and respect their children and even let them live their own lives with what they learned.

More than anything I want to see Alexander Corvinus’s fabled strength, I truly believe even as a human immortal he is more powerful than William and Marcus ( even has a hybrid ) and I would truly love to see his abilities in combat

This is my favorite movie in the series, but things get a little muddled around here. Marcus wants to free his brother...why? He wants to kill his father...why? He wants to create a new race of vampires...why? Curran and Jacobi are doing what they can, but that all-important villain motivation could've used more meat.

I know it is not what the writers intended, but in a way, Alexander kind of comes across to me as a self righteous hypocrite.

This reminds so much of Prince Nuada from Hellboy 2. He too slain his father in order to obtain what he wants for his ambitions.

That sentence never really made much sense tho...by that logic, " a true God has no brother" as well, since a brother automatically also means having a parent/creator..so he should've wanted to eliminate his brother as well, according to that sentence, but he actually cared for him, making the whole "true God" crap meaningless.

Hated how they made Marcus into a villain in the end. Him and his brother were both just victims of their circumstances. And Marcus was just trying to free his brother from his prison of madness. Their father was wrong for letting William suffer. If he had stepped in and helped Marcus years ago, the vampire's wouldn't even exist.

Vampires and werewolves and all other sorts of creatures do exist, they just blend into humanity

Would love to have seen how powerful Corvinus was.

Really does make me curious as to how strong Alexander was though. Never once did we ever get to see him actually flex his proto-immortal abilities would've been epic. Personally I find the the fact that the entire Underworld series was hinged upon Alexander's indifference to the races he created interesting. It also makes me sympathize for Marcus I mean imagine spending over 1,000 years of your father considering you, your brother, himself, and all your progeny to be mistakes meant for extinction. Marcus didn't choose to be a vampire after all, nor William a rabid werewolf.

I get that he is stronger now but I dont get why in one of his past turns in ruling the vampire clans he never did what hes doing now before. I mean Victor and Amelia would have just been in hibernation, Markus could have done all this before. I'm guessing he didnt feel he was strong enough to do it on his own until now but that's just me guessing
