Sorry but it was a nightmare for the t34 to destroy a tiger frontally... Really doubt that they could without being extremely close....

I think I remember reading somewhere that in order for a T-34 to go through the Tiger armor like this it needed to get close, it was between 500 or 100 meters (probably around 300m since the gun is punchier than the M4 75mm). Otherwise it's the same as a Sherman

76mm APCR is very unhealthy for tiger drivers and machinegunners.

It would be interesting to repeat this simulation, but with just the core impacting the armour, without the carrier. This would show the people that the mass of the carrier contributes significant portion of penetration in this design.

How close is the t34 in this scenario because range will definitely impact it's armour penetration effectiveness?

I dont think that would happen. The T34 must be under 100 meters to the Tiger 1 to do a shot like this. And everyone knows that Tiger would have spottet that T34 and shot it. And from 100 meters the T34 wouldnt survive one Shot from that 8.8 cm KwK. Am i right?

Problem is the Tiger never got knocked out fromt the front by t34.76
I can show you an example of one taking over 120 rounds in the front with no penetraton

In the field most if not all.rounds would hit at varying angles reducing pnetration in armour

Do the same with the T34-85(Zis 43) AP shells at 500 meters

Every Tiger commanders know to angle themselves when fighting. This is the worst case scenario I guess.

Can you do the M26 Pershing's T33 APC vs the Tiger 1's frontal upper glacis? I mean we all already know it will go straight through like a hot knife through butter considering the T33 APC shell was made to counter an objectively better armored tank than the Tiger 1. I just think it would be neat to see how badly it would mess up the armor.

Very confusing ... 900m/s is almost muzzle velocity, also this T34 shooted from very very very close distance i think no more than 80meters... in real combat almoust unrealistic... reality was on 500m penetration about 90mm at 90° and 1000m penetration about 60mm at 90°...

Why you don´t simulate normal shell? APCR was rly very rare.
