Yikes... music theory is the craft. Why is everyone so eager to try to produce the art without learning the craft? Music theory is essential to composing original music. Otherwise you're just regashing what you've heard before.

Recognizing similarities to "modern lve is automatic" within the lyrics, instead of blaming somebody, viceversa, I take my hat off and shout out a huge respect and thank you for this tutorial. No material for those with a short attention span tho but absolutely one of the best in this field.

I'm about 20 minutes into this, and I was looking forward to a basic introduction to making synthwave with Logic, but you use so many external plugins that it feels overwhelming. Maybe this is helpful for an experienced producer, but for me, my stomach sank everytime you introduced a new plugin. I'd love to see a beginner tutorial without the affiliate links or paid plugins, demonstrating how to create synthwave using only stock synths or free plugins. I'm sure I would be more willing to try out a specific plugin once I understand the limitations of what I already have.

Other channels do Synthwave, of course, but they’re often EDM people who take a dive in the Synthwave pool for a splash but don’t really commit to it the way you do.
