uau you didn´t include Albania????????
I’m so proud of slavic countries 😍 Slava bratia!
All these traditional dances origins are from China, Africa and India. The English Morris dance organisers from the Moors?
This is real diversity
Western european dances look so heavy-footed. Not very graceful
There's no reason for leaving out countries with less than 5 million people. Europe really doesn't have that many countries...
How beautifully diverse Europe is! Serbia, Romania, Slovakia and Portugals are my favorites from this selection.
There is no term of comparison between east and west. Eastern countries dance with their heart and soul, while Western countries are mushy and boring. Perhaps this is also why the East is still preserving tradition and the West is not.
And Liberals and Woke People say, Europe has no culture.
Bro no offense, but Western Europe looks like a bunch of old people with back problems, when compared to the Balkans lol
Wow so CROCS are Netherlands’ national shoes modified for warm weather 🤯
Greece is as far the best!!
Ответитьi like how the germans are all just hoping around
Ответитьif you are wondering why slavic ish countries are that fast paced its most likely influence from soviet times on their dance and before ever since cultural inventions like ballet etc were spread throughout europe and some improved upon it here and then this other country also did their improvments and the influences got into more things over time also ottoman and other influences are also a part most likely again its history basically
Russia, Belarus, Europe?
Not Croatia?
Interesting how eauropean dances are focused on legs and feet working while in some other regions it's all about hands (even fingers). Many African dances are concentrated on stomach and spine movements.
Returning to European dances, they have so much more in common then differences
The dancing companies from eastern Europe are working with a choreograph in charge of the performance, and therefore it’s a bit from the traditional dancing in local villages. At least some years ago I think that these companies also were professional.
Mommy can we have folk dance?
-We have folk dance at home!
England:
And hey!
We European descendants of the U.S have our own national dance!
It was gifted to us by the enlightened African and is called “twerking”
It’s customs include performing the dance in front of the smouldering ruins of our cities and using its perverse and degenerate motions to impede the travel of emergency vehicles into those “cities”.
Not nearly multicultural enough.
All I see is the archaic remnants of a once proud people before the doctrine of tolerance saved the world from their racism.
Or something.
You miss some great dances from one the oldest ppl in Europe, just staying ... And with quite beautiful music and movement, let alone being so unique. Cheers.
Where tf is the Republic of Moldova🧍♀️
Never let it be said that Europe has no culture...it has true diversity! And, yet, there is unity. I can see the roots of American folk dancing from clogging to reels, to waltzes to athleticism. The dances are simple, yet highly complicated footwork is truly amazing! History, tradition, costuming, and how great is it to see older people participating? Talk about inclusion. I sure hope all the migrants are paying attention and learning their new cultures.
I think a lot of the difference between "slow" European and "demanding" Slavic dances comes from the fact that most European dances shown here are the original folk dances performed by amateur folk groups who do it as a hobby, some of them old people, not very fit or trained, while the Slavic dances shown are complex choreographed acts performed by professional folk ballet troupes who train 10 hours a day.
The dutch dance with the older people is so beautiful! 🥹
Much love from Louisiana ❤
Bah bah bah.
Im not European but this was so beautiful ❤I would 100% watch again later on. :D
Go Bulgaria! Awesome and complex music and dances.
And they say white people have no culture
ОтветитьGermany=Lame. Russian=Amazing. Poland=Lively. Hungarian= Precise, measured. Switzerland=Slow, sleepy. Ukraine= music and dances are Russian. Sweden=Kindergarten dances. Ireland=Entertaining. Spain=Lovely, and tempting. Italy= Slow, they always have big dinners. Slovakia= Many Hungarian dance elements, lively. Romania=Mixed dances, Greek, Serbian, Bulgarian, Hungarian elements. Portugal= Entertaining. Scotland elegant.
They are busy colonizing that they don’t have time to make their culture more appealing such a lame dance
Wish Caucasus dances were also here :')
Where is Georgia (the country)
Ответитьso wonderful thanks for share it.
Just beautiful♡
W - European People🥀🥀🥀
Europeans love their accordians
Our culture never needed enriching
I like Portugal and Greece the best.
