i’ve always found it kind of a shame that kanao was a side character until the final two arcs. she’s always been a favorite of mine. personally, i kinda wish we had another arc with doma as the villain before infinity castle. i know it would introduce plot complications, but it would also give such a great way to explore inosuke, shinibu, and kanao’s connection to doma. plus doma’s cult is such an interesting concept that we never saw much of. plus plus, a villain who is literally emotionless has so much potential to be even more horrifying if fleshed out more.
