I have the nest mini, and it is pretty cool. I have a Google Pixel 6 and it was 200 with a one year warranty. It is so much faster .. Crazy stuff,,, Thanks for the video, it is a great product. Plus the Pixel Phone can tell you what most any song near you so it is a great helper there and you can do that without being on the network .. It is magic (=

No thanks. I will not go through all that to setup. I just wanted to connect and use it as a speaker for music and announcements.

My phone keeps saying CONNECTING TO WI-FI with circles going around... Been like this for over 15 minutes ... is that right??

Even though this looks easy I have never had a good experience with google home nor the speakers. Linking them to music is also a frustration. Google should stick to search engines because these are not user friendly

What kind of phone is that? I have a Pixel and the phone is telling me to """use another device" which I don't have. Why can't i use my Pixel?

So this setup process does not work for me. When my Home app finds my Mini, it tells me it needs to be activated, and gives me a link to the help center, which does not tell me how to activate it. Looking it up, some people used a device utility app, but that doesn't appear to be in the Google Play store anymore.

Something must have changed, because many people seem to have the same issue. Something about patents? I have no idea how to activate it without the Home app.
