I think you didn’t choose accidentally a T-shirt with Maria Kalas while you talk about vocal tuning 😅🥲
ОтветитьThanks for the tip on the natural note transition. Awesome
ОтветитьThis is the best vari audio tutorial ive ever seen
ОтветитьTransitions are a game changer!
ОтветитьThanks! You've made Cubase easier to learn, and MUCH more fun!
ОтветитьGreat video, Dom! VariAudio is cool tool in Cubase, but it takes more powerfull pc. Please, tell me how render audio with VariAudio correction? (my audio performance window is red!)
ОтветитьWhy does any change in the VariAudio note spoil? Any VariAudio setting spoils the original vocal sound. Any minor action by 10% makes the sound shitty, bitch. It's infuriating. 2023 I can't do clean vocals. VariAudio will make you feel like a disabled person without arms and legs with down syndrome, a helpless piece of shit.
ОтветитьHi brother,I am new,I like your channel, how to I am learning please, possible online learning please gave me information?
ОтветитьThe transition curve blew my mind! Thanks for this. I've been using Cubase for a while now for mixing and I've deliberately avoided any pitch-correction because of bad experiences years ago when it was in its infancy (and most-likely inexperience). I've recently received a vocal to mix which has a very noticeable, unnatural pitch-correction transition on the opening lyrics and I was struggling to think of ways to tackle it. I think the person who recorded it used it and thought it was subtle and nobody would notice lol. Watching your video has given me some hope and I now feel comfortable at least giving it a try! I'm going to try see if I can correct it by "fighting fire with fire" (The irony when you need to pitch-correct the pitch correction lol). Thanks again.
ОтветитьPlease do a more detailed video
ОтветитьThought I'd watch because I figured I'd pick up some little tip about VariAudio I didn't know, because I always seem to pick up something from your videos. Instead I picked up huge tips and wish I'd watched this last week before I did some major multi-track editing of vocals. And yes, the little transition smoothing triangle was one of the things I didn't know about... (the anchor point was another; not correcting sibilants was one I hadn't thought of). Oh, and one of the reasons I'm on Cubase now instead of another popular DAW is VariAudio.
ОтветитьDom, how do i make variaudio audition sound go to cue mix in Cubase?
Sometimes i just want to fix something fast while recording (and i'm already with my Headphones on) BUT when i want to adjust a note in Variaudio quickly i CAN"T hear the fixes when i move the notes around because i'm hearing the Cue in my Headphones, when i go to the control room section on my Cue mix and switch the input to MIX it doesn't work either :(
Any suggestions?
Before using variaudio, do you always first normalize the vocal track ? Someone told me to do that always. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for your video. I'm using Cubase Artist 11. I would really like you to make a deepest lesson on VariAudio as I'm a bad singer and need to fix my voice as I can .... Thank you anyway for your enthousiasm in giving your videos. They are great !!!
ОтветитьYou hear things I'm not able to hear 😞

ОтветитьMelodyne what else ? Cubase is cool but… not as much as Mel.5 at all levels : tuning, natural, rythmic, de-essing.. a bit scary maybe ! Thank u for the video Dom 👌
Ответитьgreat video man , i've been mainly struggling to finish songs because of this stuff , so thank you i just hope my cubase 8 has most of these features i'm sure it does apart from the transition smoothing , but i'm going to check now ;-)
ОтветитьWell I didn't knew all about the VariAudio. I just tuned for the first time my song with this, and you add a lot of cool tips how to improve. Took me a minute to find in menu how too turn on all this cool feratures :)

ОтветитьBIGGESTE MISTAKE: Not using Cubase!!!
ОтветитьI always listen to it but it's difficult for me to practice maybe because the software I use is not competent, namely the AI type, thank you master
Ответитьalways learning from u
ОтветитьHi Dom, I have a query. I am unable to get sound while tweaking notes in Variaudio in cubase 10.5. can you please help me out sharing the fix?
ОтветитьI chose Cubase 2 years ago because of the connections with my Yamaha Moxf8 and Variaudio. I have recorded & mixed a number of original compositions since then but decided to take a time out and go back to learn more. My background is schooled musician/vocalist. At first I tried to fix everything manually (never used auto correct or quantize even a section), but often my corrections would make the original vocal sound even better. I did not know about the set range for straighten pitch curve. That will be of great help. Thanks for the video and tips!
ОтветитьHi! first of all thank you!!
I have a question - is it possible I have cubase pro 11 and the vari audio version doesn't have that "fade" options to unstraighten the transition between notes?
how can I activate it? what version do you use in the video?
Thanks!
Hi Dom, can you tell me wich chair you have? iam searching a new chair. Thank you
ОтветитьSmiling 🙂
ОтветитьHi, I'm using Cubase Pro 11.5.
I've seen on the video that VariAudio separates sibilances and grays them out in whole vocal line representation so it's easy to tune the core part of vocal phrase only.
Tuning sibilances produces nasty amateur sounding effect.
But in my Cubase when I'm putting any vocal line into VariAudio it doesn't separate any sibilances at all.
Is there any setting I have to change?
Thank you.
why I don't hear sounds as I drag the segment up-down?
ОтветитьWhere can i buy the steinberg headphones you are using in this video? I really need it
